The Que Cafe — Restaurant in Himachal Pradesh

My Honest opinion Plus Personal experience *Unlike other reviews on google maps this is not a paid review but my own opinion and experience.

Location : Torrentium Lodge Chota Shimla

Confusion : where exactly is Que cafe ? (That consumers/customers will face) Que cafe is situated over Moti Mahal Hotel/Restaurant. People who really want to eat proper lunch or dinner often confuse QueCafe as Moti Mahal . The Board outside this bizarre place says "que cafe" but it will never tell you that there is a restaurant of Moti Mahal inside it . The customer as i explained earlier is likely to confuse the dining area of Moti Mahal Hotel and restaurant as Que Cafe .

3 . Service : One of the worst that i have experienced .The staff is very limited. With no manners whatsoever. I even tried to allert the staff time and again to make them well aware of me and my group's presence but all in vain. .

For about 30 minutes of wait finally someone from the staff came to greet us . In about another 30 minutes it took them time to serve us with a menu . And another hour to take our order and serve us with "snacks".

"Yes we waited all that time just for snacks" .

Experience level : Below average

Speciality : None . (other than the hookah they make and sell) "To be frank" which is very common these days .

Sitting area : An open area without any sun roof that could protect the customer from the intense heat of the sun and from showering rainfall . (Not a big Con) as the customer can easily move to the Moti Mahal Dining area which is roofed . *not a Pros given in favour of 'Que Café' .

However the swing set was very comfortable . Which i must say can become an uncomfortable experience if you fall along with it. " so be careful "

Ventilation : well it is an open area so it does not need ventilation unless the customer has problem with smoke coming out of the hookah being taken by the person next to you .

Quantity of food and prices : well the quantity of food was very low compared to the pricing on the menu card which was comparetively higher than its quantity .

I0. Quality of the food : was good not very good .

Services regarding Any sort of celebrations : I sincerely will not recommended anyone to go to "Que Cafe" for the purpose of cutting the cake unless you have a stock hold of money in your pockets . It is later that you will understand that the staff charges Rs 250 extra for cutting the cake itself without the courtesy of providing any services in return for the price they are charging.

Attitude : A Two star restaurant with an attitude of Five star Hotel is not worth spending your precious money on their wasted services . "Trust the reviewer "...

QUE CAFE is a mind blowing place when it comes to VIBES, FOOD & SHEESHA... It is located in Torrentium Lodge a heritage property from British times with 12 rooms.. U can plan your stay here as well!!

THE ONLY PLACE TO SERVE SHISHA/HOOKAH IN SHIMLA!! THEY HAVE LOTS OF FLAVOR TO TRY FROM..

Try their CAPPUCCINO as it was HOT n very comforting in this cold weather...

For food...Try their

BELGIAN FRIES: Crunchy Fimries topped with Mayo, different sauces, Jalapeni, Olives, Red Pepper, etc...

MANCHOW SOUP: Who would say No to Manchow soup in this chilled weather... Perfect Dish to order!!

KURKURE PANEER TIKKA: A Delicious Paneer tikka dish with medium spice n topped with breadcrumbs to make it crunchy... The portions r huge...

GARLIC CHICKEN: Asian dish with FRIED CHICKEN tossed in finger licking GARLIC SAUCE! I ordered less portion which is visible in the pics. Actual portion size is more.

LEMON BUTTER FISH: PERFECTLY COOKED FISH FILLET topped with delicious LEMON BUTTER SAUCE... This was the best dish. Loved it completely!!

DO VISITE QUE CAFE for a FUN N...

Firstly if you have such a great place, you must atleast make public convenience better. There is only one washroom for both men and women. My 2 year daughter wanted to go washroom but the washroom was clogged and the flush button was jammed. It being a hotel, i requested them for another option for convenience for my daughter ,they denied by saying that all the rooms are full. I asked them for staff washroom to use, they avoided by saying that it's too low area and you won't be able to go there. I waited for atleast half and hour for the one washroom they claimed in the entire cafe and hotel available to be cleaned and the situation was still the same. Eventually due to lack of ownership of the responsibility and service shown, we left that place and went to very next hotel available and they first cared for the convenience of my child. Being a regular customer, I was treated this way. Never ever coming back to this place which even denies emergency services for...
