Cafe Babushka: A Slice of Paradise in the Himalayas

Nestled in the heart of Manali, Cafe Babushka is more than just a café—it’s an experience that feels like a warm hug from the mountains. From the moment you step inside, the cozy, rustic charm of the place wraps around you, making you feel right at home. The café’s wooden interiors, adorned with quirky decor, vintage trinkets, and soft fairy lights, create a magical ambiance that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the hills.

The menu is a delightful fusion of Russian and Himachali flavors, with a touch of global comfort food. Whether you’re craving their famous Russian Pelmeni (dumplings), a hearty Himachali Thukpa, or a classic Banana Pancake, every dish is crafted with love and served with a smile. Don’t forget to try their homemade bread —it’s soft, warm, and absolutely divine.

And oh, the coffee! The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, and each sip feels like a warm embrace on a chilly Manali morning. Pair it with their chocolate cake or apple pie, and you’re in dessert heaven.

What truly sets Cafe Babushka apart, though, is its vibe. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the music is soothing, and the views of the surrounding mountains from the windows are breathtaking. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you find yourself lost in the moment, savoring every bite and every breath of the crisp mountain air.

Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a group of friends, Cafe Babushka is a must-visit. It’s not just a café—it’s a memory you’ll carry with you long after you leave Manali.

Highlights: Cozy ambiance, delicious food, warm hospitality, and stunning views.

Pro Tip: Visit during the early morning or late afternoon to enjoy the serene atmosphere and avoid the...

The good is the view from the place . But as someone mentioned earlier in the comments. The staff is busy flirting with girls and not paying much attention to the rest . Had ginger lemon honey which I couldn’t finish because it had an onions flavor , probably used the same chopping board without washing it . As well I Nutella pancake which looked bad and tasted even worse . I don’t understand, Russians are supposed to be good at pankakes (blin is a national dish). Anyways just...

Breathtaking views, lip smacking food, warm and accomodating owners and staff. Overall a brilliant experience and must visit for everyone coming to vashishth. They also have stay options which are comfortable, affordable and have amazing views from the balcony. The beauty of this place is the fact that travelers and local both frequent this place making it the most happening place...
