Read moreI recently visited Ishar Sweets while traveling from Shimla with my family. While the food was good and served hot, the overall experience was deeply disappointing due to the unacceptable behavior of the staff.
As travelers, we expect basic facilities like restrooms from food joints, especially those located on highways and charging premium prices. However, my wife was denied access to the restroom after we had already placed our order. This kind of behavior is not only rude but also highly unprofessional.
When my wife confronted the staff, asking where they use the restroom, she was shockingly told that the staff uses facilities at their homes before coming to work. This response was both dismissive and unacceptable. Later, the staff tried to cover up, claiming the restroom was unavailable due to cleaning, but the damage was already done, and our experience was ruined.
Even small roadside dhabas manage to provide basic amenities, so it is baffling that Ishar Sweets, a highway establishment, cannot ensure such fundamental services. While I initially wanted to appreciate the taste of the food, this experience overshadowed everything else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to others, especially travelers seeking both refreshments and...
Read moreStaff is very loud and rude , success has gone into their head and looks like they no more care for customers.
I had a very experience when their staff very rudely asked me not to taste the sweets on my own.
Nobody was there to attend to us they are just concerned about their sales.
We had paid for 6 items and when we reached home we were surprised to see that one box was missing, on which we called them up and they said it must have got exchanged with someone else you may collect your box on your next visit. On which we requested for excessive amount to be reversed via paytm / google pay, on which they said we will do that in the morning as we don’t have paytm / google pay with us. we waited till 12 noon ( next day ) and called them up and only after that the excessive amount was reversed.
Overall a very bad experience, if they have issues with customers not testing the sweets on their own the same should be displayed on walls rather than addressing...
