Situated in the lap of nature, Mazel Tov Hostel & Cafe is the perfect gateway for people who are looking to escape the chaos of city life. The dreamy views from the hostel are worth a visit. I mean not 'a' visit, I am sure your heart will long for getting back to this heavenly abode just like my heart is right now.

It was a 3N/4D stay for me at this beautifully structured hostel. The quaint interiors and hand painted walls with quirky quotes surely speaks of sheer traveler vibes.

There are two categories of rooms available : dorm which is ideal for solo, duo, trio or group and private sharing which again is suitable for solo but better for couples who are looking to spend some quality time in the mountains. There is no worry of cleanliness as all the rooms are well maintained and cleansed regularly.

The ambience of the roof top cafe surpasses everything. The seating, the music system, the indoor games, the wide variety of food, the beautiful swing and yes the most important : 'The view'. The greens of the nature and the blues of sky and river are absolute soothers for the eyes.

My heart is so content that I was able to experience the warmth and comfort this place holds. Also, a special mention for I am so glad that I was fortunate enough to receive high dose of pawsome love from the furry cuties: Harry and Tuffy. Above all a big shout-out to the charming host, Mr. Chirag Chaudhary. Had it not been his amazing hospitality, my stay would not be this memorable. However, I do not think I will ever be able to have enough of Mazel Tov and Tirthan Valley, because yeh "Dil Maange More". 🥺

I recently stayed at Mazeltov in Tirthan Valley, and honestly, it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had in the Himalayas. This place has everything—great food, warm hospitality, and a location that feels like it’s straight out of a postcard.

The Location – Pure Magic Tucked away in the quiet beauty of Tirthan, Mazeltov sits in a spot where you wake up to misty mountains and the sound of the river nearby. Whether you’re chilling on their balcony with a book or just soaking in the views, the vibe is so peaceful that you forget about city life completely. Perfect for anyone who wants to disconnect and just breathe in nature.

The Food – Homely & Delicious Oh, the food! Every meal felt like eating at a friend’s home—fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Their breakfasts (especially the parathas) were the best way to start the day. Dinner was always something to look forward. You can tell they care about quality, and it shows in every bite.

The Host – The Heart of the Place What really made Mazeltov special was the host. So welcoming, so helpful—like that one friend who makes sure you’re always comfortable. They gave great tips on nearby treks (the waterfall trail is a must!), and even shared stories about the valley.

Final Thoughts – Can’t Wait to Go Back! If you’re planning a trip to Tirthan Valley, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. It’s not a fancy resort, but that’s the beauty of it—just a cozy, warm place with great vibes, amazing food, and people who make you feel at home. I left with a happy heart (and a happy stomach) and will definitely be back!
