A lot of eating places in Himachal CLAIM to be serving Punjabi food. They even name their eateries, as Punjabi Dhabas. But they're far away from authenticity.

Sahib's Punjabi Tadka on the other hand is a culmination of taste, flavour, colour and comfort. Not to forget this is the second generation continuance of family recipes, warm hospitality and genuineness.

AS A TECHIE BASED OUT OF BANGALORE, I SALUTE THE AUTHENTICITY OF THIS CREDIBLE EATERY!

I've been in Shimla from the past three months now, working remotely and exploring the terrain. And as someone having access to some pretty good cafes/restaurants back home in Koramangala Bangalore, Sahib's Punjabi Tadka has been my all time favourite abode.

It beats every single Punjabi outlet in Manali, Mandi, Solan, Hamirpur, Dharamshala and even Shimla. I insist take a trip across the state of Himachal to validate my stance.

In a small and laid back town like Shimla, it isn't everyday that you find a hospitable eating place that opens at 9 in the morning and serves till 11 at night.

NO other Punjabi outlet serves and even home delivers (that too without Swiggy & Zomato) like this place does.

This is the first time ever in life that I've felt so strongly about a place that I went overboard appreciating it.

Lastly, a SPECIAL THANKS to the owner, who not only makes everyone feel at home but also treats his entire staff like family.

It is inspiring coming across businesses like his where humans are served with love and respect.

This admirable place has survived the test of time across three generations and continues surprising hardcore foodies like me.

I love the vibe here. Also the outstanding variety of meals available. Not to forget, the amazing portion sizes.

It's one of the rarest places in Shimla that offers home delivery even at night up to 11 pm.
