Review based upon visit on 6th June 2025
I had high hopes for Brown Butter Café and Bakery, but the experience left much to be desired.
To start with, it took 15 minutes just to get a glass of water, which set the tone for a rather slow service experience. The opening time was unclearâGoogle mentions 11:30 AM, but the staff only arrived around 11:45 AM, and they seemed a bit unwelcoming at that.
If youâre looking for a place to work or sit for long, this might not be ideal. No charging sockets were available at the tables, which made it impossible to get any work done.
Tried their pastaâit came with a lightly more spiced, Indian-style sauce that seemed undercooked. It lacked basic elements like veggies or protein and was overloaded with pizza seasoning and black pepper. However, they did follow my special request to exclude corn, so I appreciate that attention to detail.
On the positive side, the washrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the coffee was quite good, although they only had a single blend available. Music was a bit loud for a cafĂ© settingâmight not suit those looking for a quieter environment.
One concerning detail: the pasta plate had stains, and I had to use cutlery left overnight on the table, which is definitely something they need to address.
Flies on both floors made me feel a bit concerned.
Overall, while there are some positives, thereâs significant room for improvementâespecially in service, cleanliness, and clarity...
Read moreSince i live in bhuntar. I always wanted a restaurant/ bakery near me , where i can reach in 5 minutes or they can delivered me food in limited time span. But my main concern was not the time it has to be about the quality and taste. As there are not much of good option for restaurants and especially bakery here and if there are some they donât provide the that level of quality + taste in their food. But in Brown Butter I think i had almost tried everything in vegetarian part of menu and most all of the dishes are too well cooked and tasty. But that is not the only thing i tried. My favourite is blueberry cheese cake which is sooo soo good Yaaro kya hi bolun. And their freshly made cakes & brownies is so good that it reminds of some bakery where i used to go in GK 2 in Delhi . And i was surprised by the quality of product there are using to made those items. I never thought in my life that i would get to eat something like this in my hometown which i mostly get in cities. But hats off to Miss Chandni & my good friend Vishesh Who had done a job really well. And i feel so happy that in bhuntar at-least there is one place where i can recommend someone to go and try their food and bakery items. I wish them all the best for future and many more orders from my side. P.s - Donât forget to try their pizza with freshly...
