The Cliff - Rooftop Bar & Lounge is a part of Blossoms Village Resort which is located in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh in India. Nestled at the foothills of the magnificent Dhauladhar mountain range, "The Cliff - Rooftop Bar & Lounge" is a beautiful, premium luxury restaurant, with eco-friendly construction and natural and pristine surroundings - A perfect getaway destination in the Himalayas. One of my favorite place to have some tea, with nice food and along with the beautiful hill view of Himalayas. As we know its a part of Blossoms Village Resort, it means we can enjoy the hospitality of resort as well.
The resort at Dharamshala is an amalgamation of modern and the rustic, whether its My Earth store's grounding touch or Maitreya Study Centre's expansive spirit and spa. The Cliff - Rooftop Bar & Lounge guests at the Dharamsala Resort also have access to all the modern amenities and facilities of an upmarket hotel, along with tailor-made services to suit every guest's needs.
Dharamsala is situated in Kangra Valley in Himachal Pradesh. It commands majestic views of the mighty Dhauladhar ranges above, and the Kangra Valley below. Dhauladhar means "white ridge" and this breathtaking, snow-capped range rises out of the Kangra Valley to a height of 5,200 meters (17,000 feet). The Kangra Valley is a wide, fertile plain, crisscrossed by low hills.

It's part of the Blossom hotel, firstly the lift doesn't work and hence you need to take the stairs to reach the fourth floor.
Since it was about 4 p.m. the place was empty. The view is truly amazing with the snow and cloud clad mountains. And that's what the one star rating is really for.
Their Tandoor was closed and opens only after 7.30 pm so you really can't order anything from the menu except kababs, chicken chilli and sides such as masala papad, peanuts or French fries.
With no option left we ordered a beer, a masala papad and Chicken chilly. The masala papad was good, however the chicken chilly was absolutely bad. It was bright red in color, with big chunks of fried chicken tossed in some basic sauce. Sadly, the entire trip went waste... wish the hotel had some good food and drinks to enjoy with the view. Not...
Read moreIt is too good to be true. The very first visit to The Cliff blew my mind with its serene view of Dhauladhar ranges, classy interiors, fabulous people, and awesome food.
It quickly became my go-to place with its choices of refreshing teas, Keema Pao, and a bunch of awesome travellers from everywhere in the world. The Cliff almost always create a happening experience with its evening performances from handpicked artists, streaming matches and movies, or may be the starry nights.
The staff is friendly and lets you do your own thing. IMHO it should also be on the list of awesome places to work from as they have thought through everything including cute work stations, plug points, and comfort. I wish the internet connectivity was a little better.
This is my first review, and I am happy to say that The Cliff has earnt it. Highly...
