Balaji Santosh Dhaba — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Sells spoiled curries and refuses to accept it! I purchased 2 paneer butter masala curries from here and took it home. After reaching home 3 minutes later and opening the curry we found that there was bad smell emanating from the curry and it was clearly spoilt. So I took it back and very humbly asked him to take it back and pay me back the money as the curry was spoilt. Had he accepted it properly and payed me back, it would have been the end of it and I would have forgotten about this too. But he tried to act smart and started shouting that there was no smell and started blaming me. I coolly took it straight inside to the customers and started making a show there myself and when the customers also agreed, he totally shut his mouth and paid me back. So I'm now making a point to spread this so customers be more careful going there from next time and even better, do not go...

Small yet a good comfy place for pure veg food but look out for parking as you will be fined if vehicle is touching the road by 1cm, we had Paneer Butter masala(230rs for full), tandoor roti(20rs) and butter naan(45rs) for 3 members, I'm suprised by the quantity of curry compared to other santhosh dhaba where we would get hell of a lot more curry if we order full, but yet it was sufficient for us 3, roti was good wished they had normal whole atta roti for 15rs and butter naan was also good with lot of butter, coming to panner butter masala I felt it had a bit less flavor so I used some black pepper and lemon which enhanced the flavor to my liking, mind you CGST, SGST will be added on your bill, so factor that in while you order, our bill was 355rs and final bill was...

Food is tasty at Balaji Santosh Dhaba. But the environment inside the restaurant is awful!! We saw a rat roaming around in the family section where we had lunch. I almost felt like throwing up :-( . I did tell the owner (after confirming with him that he indeed is) about it but he didn't seem to bother. Later I heard from someone that some restaurants keep rats on purpose to prevent cockroaches. What is worse - rats or cockroaches?? Restaurant is in a central location, close to Dilshuknagar. If you don't care about hygiene, ambiance, are in a hurry and want to grab something quickly, go to this restaurant. Hopefully, this restaurant owner will come to his senses and fix the place so that people can actually enjoy their good...
