Bhagyalakshmi Dhaba — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Bhagyalakshmi Dhaba started as one of the quintessential dhabas in Hyderabad around 30 years ago near Ashok Bazar and has been serving the patrons ever since.

Started by Biharis and UP walas, it is one of those dhabas where you'd want to take your guys to for a quick meal or to subdue late night hunger pangs.

Nothing fancy, nothing showbiz just a 30 seater restaurant mostly full during peak times from 9PM to 12AM.

Their Lacha Paneer, Bhagyalakshmi Paneer and Rani Paneer was absolute must.

And instead of using ghee or butter, they use fat spread (palm oil)...

I had been planning to visit this dhaba for quite some time, and finally made it on August 24th. I tried Roti, Paneer Kaju Curry (half), and Veg Biryani (half), which cost me ₹290 in total.

The best part about this dhaba is that they offer half portions for every item on the menu. If you're dining alone, this is a great option that helps you try more dishes while saving money.

The food was nice, it has a wide menu. Chilli Paneer from the starters was so delicious. It has the perfect taste of a Chilli Paneer, I never found this taste anywhere. You can order a variety of Rotis and Naans here like Garlic Naan, Kothmir Butter Roti etc. Main course was pretty decent.
