Scoops Idli" is one of the oldest and most iconic idli makers in Old City, Hyderabad, celebrated for its authentic flavors and rich culinary legacy. Recently, the establishment underwent renovations to add seating space, making it more welcoming for customers. While the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, the highlight remains their signature Hot & Fresh, Karam & Ghee-dipped Idlis. The eatery is especially renowned for its flavorful sambhar, a hallmark of their authenticity for decades. Their specialty dishes, such as the Manchurian Dosa, Tana Tan Dosa, and the extravagant Bahubali Dosa, are also popular choices. However, my experience was somewhat disappointing. The hygiene and overall management of the place left much to be desired, with improper maintenance and lackluster service. The sambhar was served lukewarm, which detracted from its appeal, and the fancy dosas did not live up to their names; the simple dosa proved to be the better option. While the idli was decent, it did not entirely compensate for the other shortcomings. Additionally, parking can be a hassle. Unhygienic management, no proper maintenance , rude staff , no proper service, Sambar was not hot . siddambar bazar branch today 13-10-2024 .Today I went with my wife cashier said you have to take self service because of all waiters are busy & it may take time & No cleanliness on our table we have said to clean it 2 to 3 times but noboby is taking responsibility , we said to change the chutney becoz in that a small bug 🪲 was found and we said bring another CHUTNEY but they delayed & my wife finished her SCOOPS IDLY with samber only after that a lady came to take plate that is kept by someone before we ordered, I said why are you so late to pick those plate she rudely saying I have another work also . After that a police man came and asked what happened I said all about the management and their staff & I left my idly without having complety and came out . One star police officer (SP) said , leave it & and 4 to 5 police Jawan also said it's all management problem & we left then . Thanks to S.Dharmender sir ( SP ) to looking into this matter . I'm not blaming the SCOOPS BUT they have to give good hospitality to there Customers . SECUNDERABAD SCOOPS IS MUCH MORE BETTER THAN SIDDAMBAR...

Scoops Idly Tiffin Centre on Siddiamber Bazar Road is seriously overhyped. The food is bland and lacks any real flavor. The idlies are soft but tasteless, and the chutneys and sambar are forgettable at best. For the high prices they charge, the quality is very disappointing.

The service doesn’t help either. Staff seem uninterested, slow, and inattentive. Even small requests take time, and the overall experience feels sloppy. Cleanliness is also not up to the mark, which makes the place feel unwelcoming.

Despite all the online hype, this tiffin centre consistently underperforms. There are plenty of other eateries nearby offering better South Indian food, fresher ingredients, and much better service at reasonable prices.
