Far East Asia, Nallagandla
Last Sunday (24th August), we (10 adults and 2 kids) went for dinner at Far East Asia in Nallagandla area.
Small, cozy place in an apartment building. It has about 30-35 seats. We arrived somewhere at 9:15 pm. Tables were already booked, so we were seated immediately.
We ordered few soups (Chicken Manchow soup and Chicken Sweet Corn soup), which were decents. Then ordered loads of starters-- Korean Style Chicken, Honey Chilli Chicken, Koren Style Chilli fish and Korean Style Chilli Mushroom (each multiple plates), and a veg momo.
Korean style starters were ordered on their recommendation, and they were excellent. The fish was brilliant. We ordered Korean Style Chilli Mushroom and Chilli fish for the second time. In total, I guess, we ordered around 12-14 plates of starter!!
For the main course, we had Chicken fried rice and Chicken in Black Bean sauce, Pan Fried Noodles, and Ramens. All were good.
The quantity served were huge. One serving of Ramen was so huge that 3 people could hardly finish it. We ordered two plates of Chicken fried rice and 5 people could not finish them off completely.
Service is really great. Despite multiple people discussing and shouting random orders, the waiter took down order patiently, and didn’t miss a thing. They served patiently, with a smile, and made sure that everyone gets everything in equal quantity.
Also, they served us multiple bottles of packaged drinking water (500 ml) but didn’t charge it. When enquired, they said that it is their standard practice not to charge water.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable dinner.
Bill for all these...
Read moreWe have been to this place today, they have one kitchen and 4 restaurant names and they have almost similar items in the menu. Seating arrangement is not proper and also they don't even have a hand wash. The waiter has got a bowl and some water for us to wash the hands. The Chinese starter we ordered from Far East Asia menu was not good, it has almost half laver of corn on it and chicken was not cooked properly, I could see the flesh uncooked inside the chicken starter. Then the biryani, we ordered the royal chicken biryani from the Flames and pots menu, the biryani I had here was the tasteless biryani I ever had in my life. I am a huge fan of Hyderabad biryani and this one has spoiled my Friday evening. Biryani rice was semi cooked and I couldn't chew the rice and when I asked the waiter he took the biryani bowl and put the same in microwave for couple of minutes and brought it back. Seriously if the food is nice then you don't need 4 different brands of restaurant from the same kitchen. The restaurant management should learn a little on hospitality and how to wait the tables instead of just in a hurry to serve the food. Here are the brands 1. Far East Asia 2. Flames and pots 3. Uttar me swad 4....
Read moreWow! I ordered dinner from here tonight via Swiggy (Chicken Noodles and a Fish Starter, around ₹600) and I am genuinely speechless. From the bottom of my heart, this was one of the best meals I have eaten in years. It's rare to find this level of quality, especially through delivery here in Hyderabad where experiences can sometimes differ from dine-in.
The Chicken Noodles were fantastic - a generous portion, packed with chicken, and tasted incredibly simple yet authentic. Absolutely perfect, a clear 10/10 and amazing value for the price.
But the Garlic Fish Starter... oh my goodness! It was phenomenal. Somehow both simple and incredibly flavourful at the same time. It just melted in the mouth. Another solid 10/10!
I was initially a bit sceptical because I used a Swiggy coupon, wondering if quality or quantity might be compromised, but absolutely not! They delivered exceptional food without cutting any corners.
This restaurant is truly setting a benchmark. They understand quality, flavour, and value. I sincerely hope they continue this amazing standard with every order and become a huge name not just in Hyderabad, but across India. Highly, highly recommended! You've earned a...
