Lucky's Arabian Mandi — Restaurant in Hyderabad

If you want to taste authentic Yemeni fare, this is where you should head toward. It's run by a chef who knows his trade. Mandi is place you cannot miss if you like Arabian cuisine.

Location and parking: In the same building as the Dimmy Pan shop, Mandi@36 is tucked away on the first floor. There is limited parking in the basement and more on the side street.

Seating:

You can choose to sit on regular tables or in a traditional setting with a low table set up on a raised platform with carpet. If you choose the latter, you better be like sitting cross legged. But, it is more relaxed and familial and befits eating Mandi.

Straight off, you will notice Mandi on the menu. Mandi is the reason you should come here. Mandi is a Yemeni preparation of flavoured rice with generous portions of dry fruits and protein such as chicken or mutton.

The food is spiced but not at all overpowering, and tasteful entirely. The rice is boiled in mutton stock which infuses flavour of the meat in every bite. You can order in Half and Full portion. Lucky Arabian Mandi looks very normal, but you should only taste to know that some of the dishes are authentic.

The mandis are good and so is biryani, but if you want it spicy, you have to say it.

The quantity for price is good. The taste is better than many other fabulous looking places. You can order on Swiggy and other online apps. If you are visiting, you might have to face crowd many a times... So place your order, roam around Warasiguda roads happily for some time before your order arrives.

Ambience is not up to the mark a small mandi section were around 30 people can sit at a time.
