Mandi King — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Visited this restaurant with relatives for dinner on the weekend,

2W parking is ample within the basement area however, 4W parking is infront of the restaurant, and very limited (to about 6 to 7 cars across perhaps.)

Access to the restaurant is from the basement elevator, to the 2nd floor.

Footwear needs to be removed outside, before entering.

Although it was a bit crowded, once we placed the order, immediately a small bowl of (about 25ml) non-veg meat stock Soup was served. Then, in about 5-mins our order of mutton Mandi arrived however, it was just about warm, wasn't pipping hot.

The accompaniments like the tomato paste, and especially the garlic mayonnaise was deliciously yummy.

Two of the staff members who attended to us were very good, and speedily provided water bottles. For others like cutlery, additional extra servings of rice, mayonnaise etc. were also brought to us in no time, upon our request.. that too at no additional charge.

The yellowish aromatic rice, and that chunks of meat.. although to be honest.. was a bit dry but so, so tender that it simply fell off the bone with just an effortless tug and, although we all thoroughly enjoyed the food.. it was good to taste however, IMHO the salad and non-veg (chunks of meat) portions they served, needs improvement.....

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experiences at your establishment, as I feel it is important to provide feedback.

Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in both the quality and quantity of food offered during our visits. Additionally, it seems that prices have been steadily increasing, which is concerning given the changes in your dining experience.

Moreover, I would like to suggest considering an upgrade to the ambiance of the restaurant. The carpet and lighting feel quite outdated, and it would greatly enhance the overall experience to see improvements in these areas. Lastly, the lack of entertainment, such as music for kids, has made our visits less enjoyable compared to other family-friendly dining options.

I truly hope to see positive changes implemented, as our family has enjoyed dining at King Mandi in the past. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

First of all, the ambience and seating area is very nice and I'm leaving this review because the manager asked me several times to leave a review right in front of him (but data wasn't working), probably because the rating is 3.8 and their competitor, Aazebo has 4.2

Secondly props to mandi king for having UPI payments as Aazebo doesn't have it

Now the main thing, FOOD I took Chicken Faham Mandi and Juicy Chicken Mandi So DISAPPOINTED, I can't believe there are so many 5 stars, have you not tasted Mandi elsewhere?? The taste and state of mandis in India is already at it's WORST, even places like mandi36 and aazebo don't serve authentic mandi and this was tahari rice and bbq chicken didn't taste well and the colour of faham wasn't even red, it was blackish, the sauces were nice though I've tasted Mandi and Khabsa in Saudi and this is NOT IT
