Had a very bad experience today evening - around questionable food hygiene (taking a probiotic before sleep tonight) and arrogant service. Giving one star because there is no zero star. The experience prompted me to research on the previous reviews. I am convinced that the 4+ rating is based on synthetic reviews. This is a place we used to frequent when it was small and in a different place (circa covid days) which happened to be close to our home, where there was literal oversight of the owner. The scaling has gone awfully wrong. The staff is clearly disinterested (and maybe frustrated) and as a result arrogant (when the owner is not around). The food is also overhyped. Does a restaurant which cannot even make proper tandoor roti qualify to be called a North Indian restaurant? When we pointed out the burnt tandoor rotis, we were asked whether we would like to have tawa rotis instead!!! We went ahead only to see the tandoor rotis also figure in our bill. Didn't want to discuss any further about the bill and preferred to make this public instead - didn't want to feel like doing under the table dealings, after noting that they had done little to acknowledge the mess up, or at the least come and talk to us. The owner had walked in towards the end of the saga and got to know something had happened, but the staff didn't want to tell about the incident - we didn't want to explain either. While they claim to be a small restaurant serving simple home made food, the cost is not anything that reflects this (add another 500 - for 4 people - and there are places we have gone a week earlier which offer much better experience and food with non-veg dishes included, around the same area). Here is the script of the experience... 1. We, a party of 4 including a super senior citizen, were made to wait for 15 min before a guy with high attitude approached us - this is when there were 2 tables to serve on a Sunday evening. He makes you feel that you have come there to eat free food. Ok, we ignore that and start... didn't want to spoil our evening with cribbing around. 2. Tandoor roti comes - I try to open it, it refuses to... I look closely, and there is a thread embedded in the dough. I call the waiter... he says by mistake... he will change... no sign of him for an eternity. I start with the remaining roti... and realize that what he has served is not tandoor roti, but burnt roti.... We call him again... He disappears with the remaining 6+ rotis.. comes back and asks whether we would like to have tawa rotis instead... We somehow finish the dinner and head out to pay at the counter itself and see that we are paying for the burnt roti that they had taken back. So sad to see this early mover in this area take to fake reviews and go down like this.... from culinary award to one star reviews.. We had given umpteen number of chances... we kept retrying (first after a fiasco with a take out set of fulkas, then a couple of underwhelming visits at their new place including their new place inauguration, then keeping it to only ordering in), but now this seems to be the last nail... Anyone interested in knowing the attitude of the proprietor can go through the replies to the genuine google reviews. The arrogance is either passed on to the staff by design or they have imbibed it to take it out at customers when the owner is out of sight (we could see a spring in everyone's step as soon as she came in - guess that is not what scaling is!!!).

My wife was demanding to taste the quintessential Bihari dish "Litti-Chokha" for a long time, as she had never had it earlier. Yesterday evening, after the downpour, thought of going out for dinner and fulfilling her wish. I used to have Litti-Chokha from a small restaurant in Kondapur earlier, but that shop had shut down during Covid and I didn’t have any clue where this dish is served now. So, did a quick search in Zomato and found a list. The first restaurant on the list was closed (as it was their weekly off day), and the second informed over call that they were closed due to pest control activities. Finally, landed up at "Nidhi ki Rasoi Se", a pure veg restaurant in Lingampally area. Ordered Litti-Chokha, and it came within reasonable time. Surprised to find out that they didn’t serve ghee with the dish, so asked for it separately. The server provided it after initial reluctance, but that was hardly two tea spoonfuls. It’s very surprising that a premium-priced restaurant doesn’t serve the dish with proper ingredients. The litti tasted very ordinary, the chokha (baigan ka) was really good. Also ordered a Dal Tadka and couple of rotis to complete the meal. Both tasted good. Bill for one plate of Litti-Chokha, one Dal Tadka, Couple of Butter Phulkas and a water bottle came as 745/-. Overall, a very average experience for us.

Placed an order with the restaurant after specified instructions to the manager. The Garlic Naan was very thick, there was lot of raw chilly powder in the paneer tikka masala. The raw chilly powder in the paneer tikka masala was too dominant and the dish was distasteful. Kaju and paneer biryani - Disclaimer - this is not hyderbadi biryani Only good thing was generous amount of barista. The rice was dry , they used long grain and short grain rice and it did not have the flavour of biryani. Paneer pieces were hard. Generous amount of kaju of average quality. Spoke to restaurant owner they said they would compensate by ensuring next visit would be satisfactory but I expressed considering this experience I cannot visit again. The food we only tasted a small portion I can get it to restaurant to justify how it is. However they denied and told they will check and reach to me. But no response since 2 days. They are not responding to call and message. Side dish- They don’t serve Salan ( this was informed prior itself) Raita- ignore about it being diluted the curd taste was poor , texture was pathetic. Salad- It was stale Not worth the price in terms of garlic naan portion, the food taste. I would never recommend anyone to order or dine in this restaurant.

I myself tasted the food. I can surely say it was not fresh food. I tasted Nidhi's food for almost 10 times in 1 months and I can say it was fresh biryani or not. Coming to the staff, I said BRAID (CHOTI IN HINDI) Not BEARD. We were the first customer to step in for dinner. You can check if you want. It was not busy hours. We stepped in around 6.45Pm and I don't think it will be busy at that point of time. Coming to his behavior, he surely have ignored when I took the point of Biryani then and there itself. Else I wouldn't have written the review for this. Anyhow, it's up to you if you wanna take necessary action or not. This reply I never expected from you after my review. You can support your staff, but he was really harsh and we definitely felt ignored

I am a regular customer to Nidhi ki Rasoi and also a fan of Nidhi. But yesterday, there was a bad experience which I faced. We ordered Kaju Paneer Biryani and it came very warm. I cannot say warm as well it is less than warm and when we asked for hot ones, staff bought the biryani by heating in Microwave. When we pay 350Rs for Biryani small handi (It is costly as per the quantity you are giving), do we have a right to ask fresh food or not? Also, when we complained to the staff over there, he wasn't listening and gave us the bill and increased the music volume. Is this the way you tell your staff to treat customers? Attitude is more important to go back to the restaurant. I dont know his name but he was with a braid. He was not at all sorry nor ready to hear what happened. When you will go to restaurant, wont you expect fresh and hot food? After gaining fame, If you start ignoring customers or give less quality food, within no time you will loose the fame. This review is not to defame. This review is to warn about your staff's negligence. With his behavior and the quality of food we received yesterday, the opinion which I had for Nidhi with my past experiences has changed completely. Please teach how to behave with customers and also ask them to be atte ntive. We waited for 25mins after our order and other customers were served within 10mins ans when we called him to check, he came very recklessly and told its only 10mins and went away. Atleast be kind to the customers. Not sure why he has shown that much attitude. The way to attract customers is to be friendly not by showing attitude. If you really wanna know, you can check your camera on 27-07-25 at around 7 to 8 PM. I order food or visit Nidhi's minimum once a week. This is not the way I expect your staff to treat the customer. Finally, we paid for cold and morning made Biryani and left with disappointment because your staff is not ready to listen and he directly attended other customers when I was talking. You may even check how I was talking. I was polite but his attitude was too much. Ask him to respect...

I had previously ordered and ate from this place but today when I went for having some good food I was highly disappointed . The reason is as follow The Thali which was served was tasteless , Dal and one sabji was not at all tasting fresh I didn’t finish my food though was hungry . I will definitely rethink on my next visit. I observed that one staff who was clearing the table didn’t threw the left over salad rather he took the cut lemon from the used salad and then used in preparation of mocktails . I was sitting close to kitchen so i was able to see this . Normally with starter they serve sauce and green chutney in a bowl . In other restaurants normally they throw the left over of these chutney and sauce . But here i saw staff not doing that rather they refilled the same used bowl and served to the other customer .

If the owner of the restaurant is reading then it’s a request please monitor these kind of things coz it’s highly disappointing as in dine in i saw these things now I am just thinking what is done when the food is ordered online !!! Also you call home cook food concepts trust me it’s worse than a restaurant! At home we don’t serve left overs , and the basic food i.e dal and plain sabji tastes eatable . This happened Saturday 29th july’23 4pm ( In case you are not aware) , please try to be aware by checking your cctv footage !

Writing properly in readable language doesn’t mean scripted !! If you r doing business learn these things it will help you!!You are truely unprofessional and giving me such saddest reply . Since i am not getting option to post a reply hence I am adding in this comment . I added things in points and in details coz you seems to unaware about everything . Try to improve rather arguing with everyone . Yes I didn’t like anything about your restaurant dine in service . Please read the review properly i had ordered before hence after that i visited that place .At that time which is 4pm no manager was there , only 2 people were there . Also , you might have time but I don’t since i was throughly disappointed with your food and staff service hence i took out time to write reply !!!! Not spreading anything instead altering other people to rethink before visiting the place!! Check your camera if you can !! Since you are so negligent...
