I was expecting the Sheermal but got butter naan sprinkled with lot of chia seeds or some black seed (maybe something healthy add on) which was also good and worked with the marag Chicken Drumsticks - I have had better ones than this surely. It wasn’t that great but okayish Pista House Spl Zafrani chicken tikka - very weirdly it was sour! When asked why it is sour the waitress said it will not be sour in the beginning then says zafrani taste but felt something surely went wrong with that. Mutton Biryani - Very good taste - surely a must eat. Mutton was tasty and cooked perfectly. Rice was flavourful. The gravy and raitha provided with biryani was also very good! Most of us Hyderabadis don’t really use the gravy bt it’s good here. Mixed Juice (Jug) - predominant strawberry flavour (with a few pieces of dragon fruit, kiwi, orange, pineapple etc)- was very good - a lil bit on the sweet side for those who have diabetes but you can enjoy if it’s your cheat day! They don’t have cool drinks only mojitos and this juice jug which serves around 4 ppl. Only bad thing about this restaurant is the entrance near the road which leads to the restaurant - it’s always filled with flowing water and sludge. It’s the yucky part there - I guess you got to pass over the bad to have something good. The interior of the restaurant though is good. Lack of Communication: Arguing with customers instead of addressing their concerns is unacceptable. A good restaurant would apologize, rectify the mistake, and ensure the customer feels valued.
Delays and Excuses: Waiting 40 minutes for drinks and blaming the kitchen being busy is not a valid excuse in a fine dining setting. Proper staffing and coordination should prevent such delays.
No Service Recovery: The fact that they didn’t attempt to make up for their mistakes (e.g., offering a sincere apology) shows a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction.
It’s frustrating when a restaurant fails to deliver on its promises, especially when you’re paying a premium for what’s supposed to be a high-quality experience. Small dhabas which are humble places with genuine care and effort can outshine establishments like this that rely on their "fine dining" label to excuse poor service.
