My Experience at Platform 65, Dilsukhnagar (Sunday, 29th December 2024, at 2:45 PM)

I would like to share my experience from yesterday, which was quite disappointing.

Waiting Time: We waited outside for 20 minutes before being allowed inside. Once seated, no one came to take our order for almost 15 minutes.

Unavailability of Biryani: A person wearing a dark grey suit approached us to take the order. He informed us, "Sir, we don’t have biryani, and we’re done for the day." I told him that we were willing to wait, but he insisted they couldn’t serve biryani due to the heavy crowd earlier. I reminded him that we had planned this visit for a week and made a booking that same morning for a group of nine family members. Despite knowing this, the staff did not prepare adequately. Instead, he simply suggested we opt for fried rice, which I don’t prefer.

Train-Themed Dining Disappointment: My family, especially the kids, was excited to experience the train-themed dining. However, when the food was finally served, the train was stuck somewhere, and the staff delivered it manually, completely defeating the purpose of our visit.

Food Ordered: Due to the limited options, we only ordered tomato soup and chicken drumsticks, just to see the train bring the food to our table. Unfortunately, even that didn’t happen as expected.

Feedback at Billing: While paying the bill, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the person in the dark grey uniform, who turned out to be the manager. I clearly stated that both the service and the food quality were disappointing.

Overall, my experience at Platform 65, Dilsukhnagar, was far from what we had anticipated. The lack of preparation, poor service, and failure to deliver on the train-themed concept were extremely disheartening, especially after we had been looking forward to this visit...

It was a very bad experience and I will never suggest to anyone. They are serving spolied products and morning products at night.

I went to this restaurant by traveling to 45min for my kids entertainment. Bcz other than train nothing is there in the restaurant not quality food nor service. I have ordered Manchow Soop, Loly pop wings, 2 cool drinks and spcl chicken Biryani. After 25 min my order was received for both Starters and main course at the same time and not followed the food service process.

The wings were very cold and a pathetic product served from refregirator and same as Biryani too when the bowl was not warm when I touched it. The worst part is cool drinks were also not chilled much. This winter I did not feel chilled which means you can understand the quality of soft drinks.

When I was asking to manager he was telling me that there is no kitchen in the Dilsukhnagar branch and they will bring the products from Kukatpally Main branch daily twice. It means it is very clear that they are selling spoiled food to customers at this branch.

This is truly not appreciated and don't operate the restaurant with this quality . Seriously you playing with kids'lives where no one has the right to do.

I request respective food safety officers to visit this outlet and seal it.

Of course I will not leave this matter and proceed legally too.

I strongly say that no one should visit this restaurant who are playing with our kids life drastically.

I visited this restaurant again after a very long time, and honestly, the difference is shocking. When they first opened, this place was fresh, unique, and worth the hype. The food tasted great, the service was warm, and reservations were a must because it was always full. Back then, it felt special.

Fast forward to now — everything has fallen apart. The food quality has dropped completely, the flavors don’t even come close to what they used to be, and the service is a big disappointment. You literally have to call the staff multiple times, and even then they don’t respond properly. The warmth and welcoming vibe are gone.

The famous “train service” that once made this place different is no longer maintained. The trains stop randomly, break down often, or need to be pushed manually. While I was there, someone’s order stopped at the wrong table and was served there, while the actual customer had to wait another 15 minutes. Imagine how frustrating that would be if it happened to you!

I wasn’t a reviewer back when this restaurant was at its peak, but now that I’ve started writing reviews, I couldn’t ignore how much it has gone downhill. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something special, this is NOT the place anymore. At best, visit only if you’re extremely hungry and don’t mind average food with poor service.
