Certainly! Hyderabad is famous for its flavorful biryani and delicious Qurbani sweet. Here's some information about both: **Hyderabadi Biryani:** - **Varieties:** Hyderabad is renowned for its two main types of biryani: the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and the Hyderabadi Kacchi Biryani. - **Dum Biryani:** This style involves marinating the meat and partially cooking it before layering it with parboiled rice. It is then slow-cooked in a sealed pot, allowing the flavors to meld together beautifully. - **Kacchi Biryani:** In this version, raw marinated meat is layered with raw rice and cooked together. The Kacchi Biryani is known for its more robust and bold flavors. - **Ingredients:** Key ingredients include fragrant Basmati rice, marinated meat (often chicken, mutton, or beef), a blend of aromatic spices, saffron, and fried onions. - **Serving:** Biryani is typically served with raita (yogurt with spices), mirchi ka salan (spicy chili gravy), and sometimes with hard-boiled eggs or salad. - **Famous Biryani Spots:** Some well-known places to enjoy Hyderabadi Biryani in Hyderabad include Paradise Biryani, Bawarchi, and Shadab Restaurant, among others. **Qurbani Sweet:** - **Qurbani Sweet:** Qurbani Sweet, also known as Qubani ka Meetha, is a famous dessert from Hyderabad. - **Main Ingredient:** The main ingredient in Qurbani Sweet is dried apricots (qubani), which are soaked, boiled, and sweetened to create a rich and flavorful compote. - **Flavor Profile:** It has a sweet, tangy, and slightly tart taste, often enhanced with the addition of cardamom and garnished with slivered almonds or pistachios. - **Serving:** Qurbani Sweet is typically served cold and can be enjoyed as a dessert after a meal or on special occasions and festivals. - **Variations:** Some variations of Qurbani Sweet include adding custard or cream on top for added richness. - **Cultural Significance:** This sweet dish is often prepared during festivals, weddings, and other special occasions in Hyderabad and is a symbol of hospitality and celebration. Both Hyderabadi Biryani and Qurbani Sweet are iconic dishes that reflect the rich culinary heritage of Hyderabad and are a must-try for anyone visiting the city or exploring its cuisine.

We ordered two chicken biriyani plates. It was delicious. The portions were huge and there was ample chicken as well. It was also very cheap. They also gave two huge pots of raita and a chutney. Service was good too. The staff would frequently fill the water jugs and asked if we needed anything else. Atmosphere was horrible. The place was very dirty. They had sponges to clean the table and the staff would hold the sponge and then go to handle the food without washing their hands. The sink area had pieces of rin soap (clothes cleaning soap) to wash your hands, no hand wash was provided. Also perhaps it's more of an issue with the region rather than the restaurant itself but the other customers (locals) kept staring at our table, making our group very uncomfortable. Food is really great here. However, if you are with your family please go somewhere else.

I went to the restaurant after seeing its rating on google. I ordered a Hyderabadi biryani full plate for 1 person which cost me 170 INR. The quantity is high as compared to a single person. I'm a foody person and also hunger at that time but still not able to finish the plate. Their taste of rice is good but the chicken piece tastes OK as they put BBQ pieces into biryani which is odd to me and it makes my throat feel dry while eating it. If you're coming alone then either ask for half plate or come in group so that you can eat the whole dishes and not leave anything on the table. If they told me the same then I was supposed to order half plate buryani but they didn't tell me anything about it. One last thing always tally your bill, because the manager directly added the tip amount in the bill but I didn't pay any extra money to him.

I recently visited Rumaan Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The service from the waitstaff was subpar; they seemed disinterested and unresponsive, which made for a frustrating dining experience. The hygiene of the restaurant left much to be desired. The tables were not properly cleaned, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment was lacking. As for the food, it was a letdown. The curries were overly salty and lacked any real flavor, making it hard to enjoy the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant didn’t help either—it felt dull and uninviting, with uncomfortable seating that detracted from the experience. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my visit to Rumaan Hotel and would not recommend it based on this experience.

Swagath Hai Dosto I recently visited the Rumaan Restaurant Khilwad Branch and here's my valuable review regarding the restaurant hope it's make you a clear view about the place Generally the restaurant is quite good for the food and pocket friendly and ambience wasn't to my expectations and later on coming to the service and atmosphere the service isn't satisfied and the table and sitting arrangement is worst the sofa isn't the things to be there but a better option would be a bench with a comfort... About family section the restaurant doesn't have more options and place is limited with a crowded..... Overall it's about how you describe and matter of hunger to satisfy the needs at end.

So I was in Hyderabad for a work trip and having heard so much about the Hyderabadi Biryani I had to try it out. In search of authentic Hyderabadi Biryani and not something that would be too commercial, we were directed to Rumaan. The place in itself is like a typical old town hotel. No fancy ambience but the crowd in the restaurant speaks for itself on the taste of the food. Right from the first bite of the Biryani the flavors and the taste were so good. Complete value for money. If you are in Hyderabad and want to try out a genuinely tasty Biryani..Rumaan is a must visit.
