Sri Udupi Grand (pure vegetarian) — Restaurant in Hyderabad

On our visit to Hyderabad, first food joint we’d visited was, this pure vegetarian restaurant, Sri Udupi Grand in Attapur. Place is over crowded any time. Staff is good, food is delicious but just one thing they have to sort out is to keep the place clean and hygienic.

Now about the food we ordered; . Rava Masala Dosa (semolina crepe with potatoes and onions stuffing) . South Indian Thali; it consists of;

1. Puri (deep fried bread)
2. Vaṇḍina annaṁ (steamed rice)
3. Vēyin̄cina pāpāḍ (fried papad)
4. Kyāreṭ halvā (hot carrot fudge)
5. Klasṭar bīns Vejiṭabul (side dish of cluster beans)
6. Miriyālu rasaṁ (side dish of pepper corns and boiled split pigeon pea water)
7. Mūṅg dāl (side dish of split yellow gram)
8. Muḍi māmiḍi pānīyaṁ (raw mango drink)
9. Ṭamōṭā rasaṁ (side dish of tomatoes and boiled split pigeon pea water)
10. Perugu (yogurt)
11. Avakai (Andhra style raw mango pickle)
12. Beerakaya Thokku Pachadi (dip made out of ridge gourd peels and spices)

We enjoyed a lot and love to try their other...

Worst worst worst ever restaurant I have ever been to . Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy also.... So unhealthy the restaurant is m waiters done care about customers at all had to wait 30 mins just for a masala dosa and idlies m World's only so called UDUPI HOTEL which does NOT have a SINGLE UDUPI cuisine dish. Best part no hot water available for my mom as she was suffering from a bad cold and sore throat. And the waiter beautifully added 20 bucks to the bill when I clarified he is we just blinking. PLEASE NEVER EVER VISIT THIS HOTEL FOR COFFEE ALSO IT IS SO DIRTY. The waiter actually switched off the air conditioning after 10 minutes. Sambhar and chutney were so diluted tasted like drain water idly dosa parantha were so so hard like rocks. WORLD'S WORST...

Worst service from billing to parcel of the product. Faced lot of difficulty. Idly is not available, however the idiot billing person on the counter said it is available and made us(others aswell) wait 40 minutes... Very worst service. He is not giving refund also.. Taste is also not good. They do packing in newspaper. Even the packing got damqged and chutney got leak.. Very worst. Ambience is also not at all clean. This was my first time and it will be my last time going to this worst Udupi hotel. Do not go here. Prices also too high.. The biller is an idiot scumbag.. Chettha na bammardi gaadu. Kojja badcow gadu made us wait...
