Hyped Place with Great Variety but Needs Better Management
We visited Veg Vanjan on a Saturday after seeing a lot of reels online and were quite excited to try it out since it was a veg restaurant with good reviews. The place was extremely crowded and we had to wait around 30–40 minutes for a table, even though some people with reservations were also made to wait — which points to poor front-desk management. There was no proper system to manage the crowd, and the waiting area was chaotic.
Coming to the food — yes, there is a huge variety of vegetarian dishes, which is great to see, but sadly, the execution didn’t match the hype.
Some starters were served at the table, but not all. The staff missed serving a few items, and we were informed later that the mushroom dish was unavailable. We had to call the staff repeatedly to serve the dishes to us. Among all the starters, only the grilled dishes stood out – those were well-cooked and flavorful. The rest were quite average.
The live counters were painfully slow. The pani puri counter had a long queue. The pasta counter was also heavily crowded, so I couldn’t try it.
Main course was nothing extraordinary – typical dishes with average taste, and frankly, not something I would go back for.
The dessert section had a wide spread, but again, the quality and taste were just average – nothing memorable.
Overall, aside from the grill plate starters, the experience didn't live up to the expectations set by social media. If you're planning to visit, I’d recommend going on a weekday or off-peak hours to avoid long...
Read moreA Great Experience – Delicious Food and Excellent Service! Visited Veg Venjen with my family on 12th June and had a wonderful time. I called ahead for a reservation and spoke with Simran Madam, who was extremely helpful. She informed us that the restaurant was running full but suggested a suitable time to visit, which helped us get a table without any wait. The ambience was very pleasant, and the staff were polite and well-mannered, adding to the overall experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the starters – they were served hot and tasted amazing. The live tawa setup on the table was a unique twist, somewhat like Barbeque Nation but with a distinct style of its own. The salad section was impressive, and we especially loved the beetroot halwa and the variety of chaat items. Almost everything we tried was delicious. The only slight letdowns were the pizza, as the base was a bit undercooked, and the ice cream, which was partially melted. That said, everything else was spot on. It’s a great value-for-money & time, for vegetarian buffet and conveniently located near my place. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you, Team...

The entire experience was thoughtfully curated — everything was served at the table, which gave a nice premium feel to the buffet concept. The menu was completely vegetarian with Jain options too, which was great.
Highlights of the evening: • Beetroot Tikki – Absolute show-stopper! Crispy outside, and the surprise cheese filling inside made it unforgettable. • Hariyali Mushroom Tikka – Juicy, grilled to perfection, and full of flavor. • Swiss Chocolate Roll – I don’t usually like dark chocolate, but this one was smooth and perfectly balanced. • Mille Feuille – Light, creamy, and elegant – easily one of the best desserts on the menu. • Bombolini – Soft, airy, and a great sweet finish.
I also enjoyed the Crispy Corn and Raj Kachori from the live counter.
What didn’t work for me: • The Salsa Soleil Tart felt a bit off in flavor. • The Mango Panipuri was too sweet for my taste — I missed the usual tang.
A memorable evening with delicious food and great company. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for a fun and flavourful vegetarian...
