So let's understand this place better and what should one expect if they really turn up to try this fish fry. So this place is near the ECIL main road. It is situated just at the entry of Trishul Bar and Restaurant. They sell mainly Rohu Fish Fry which is black carp. However, it's noteworthy that their Rohu fish is fresh water fish which is caught and sold on a daily basis. These are not refrigerator stored fish and hence immediately one thing you would notice is that you would not have any smell and would rather be tasting succulent, soft and sweet fish. This is really very rare honestly which I found for the first time in my 7 years staying in Hyderabad. Now coming to variety honestly they only sell rohu, they start by selling the main parts of the fish and as when they exhaust the stock for the day, they start frying the fish head, tail parts etc. If you want to get hold of one of their food cuts, it's better to be there by 7:30 pm as they are sold out by 9:30 to 10 pm. The good cuts of fish cost 70 rupees and the head and tail parts cost 50 rupees. Served on a leaf and handed over a newspaper the taste is heavenly though ambience wise not a great place and there is no place to sit and eat unless you are willing to sit in the bar and have it with some drinks 😁 Though they sell Rohu only however there is a catch there again which I realised, they cook this over coal fire on a bigger tawa and the same fish over gas fire on a smaller one. One can quickly notice the fish on the coal tawa has huge crowds lining up and slower one on the gas tawa. Post enquiring and also tasting one from both, I realised the fish on gas tawa is more crispy while the coal one melts like butter in your mouth. My recommendation would be the coal tawa one. At times they also sell small sized prawn fry at the extreme end however it is not a daily ritual. Also you will have to stand in line and make your way through which might not be the easiest thing you might have done among hoards of people queueing...

Fish fry is the main highlight - it's great 9/10 times and pretty decent the remaining 1 time. Mutton "spare parts" is the other- from boti to bheja to kapure you can pretty much get anything from a goat fried and paper plated. You also get chudwa, fruits, fried chicken, hot vada etc etc. Great place to spend with the boys after a long day at work. If you're looking for ambience, clean washrooms and good music - Keep looking. If it's your first time be warned - spice levels will make you remember the chef...
