I would like to bring to your knowledge this incident that occurred yesterday evening, i.e, 27th June2023 @ 19:59 hrs, When we visited Sarath city Mall, Gachibowli – Miyapur road, Hyderabad and ordered VEGETARIAN food at WoW China located at food court (lower ground).
We usually go to vegetarian restaurants but yesterday everyone was in favour of getting Chinese so we ordered Veg fried rice, veg noodles, veg Manchurian and veg panner schezwan from wow China.
Upon eating the noodles we found some pieces in it but assumed it to be tofu and ate few bites, but still we were uncomfortable as the taste was unfamiliar to us. Being a PURE- VEGETARIAN we didn’t realised what’s wrong, so we went to the store counter with a pieces of the same to inquired. It was shocking to know from the store manager the piece which we took from the noodles were MEAT.
We got really furious as we are pure vegetarians and instead of veg noodles he served us chicken noodles. When we asked him to call the food court manager or the owner of wow china at sarath city mall, as he was totally inattentive to what we were saying and kept on taking his orders.
We kept running here and there for almost 45 minutes. It was then when we started raising the voice . The food court manager, who by then had come up to us, and the head of the cleaning staff tried to convince us to calm down by just saying sorry. In between my younger daughter vomited twice and had loose motions. How can someone offer non-vegetarian food to pure-vegetarian person without his knowledge.
Coming from purevegetarian Brahmin family, this is against our religion.
Few things which were shocking and annoying
-Store Manager didn’t realised the magnitude of the issue of serving non-vegetarian food to Pure-vegetarian people, and continued with his orders
-When I asked Store manager to call food court manager, he was not aware of Food court manager
-When I asked for Complaint book - Store manager was not having a complaint book and neither Food court manager.
Left with no other choice, ultimately I have to call Police helpline and request them to intervene.
If restaurants /food chains cant differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and respect peoples choice they should stop selling vegetarian food where non-vegetarian food is...

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Ordered a Rs. 340 corn cheese peri peri momos and was charged Rs. 3640. If in case I did not notice the bill and customer receipt copy, the rude cashier would have never reached out to me and I would have been in 3300 loss for a 340 momos. May be it might have typed in by mistake, but the cashier was very rude to me and I had a very pathetic experience there.
When I asked for a refund in cash after noticing, the cashier said that it would be refunded to the card and lied that he doesn’t have any cash in the counter. I was not at all confident that it would get refunded as his behavior was not right, hence I asked for a cash refund. He said he spoke to his store manager regarding the same which he did not talk at all and said waiting for his call back. Later he claimed that he was the store manager.
When I asked him what if I didn’t get the refund after I leave, he replied saying that they would come to my house and give back the money. They did not even have my name or phone number. I was very firm on getting the refund in cash as he did not seem like a fair person. Then he said “Take this food or just leave, we are not going to give you any refund in cash at all. I am the manager of this store, I am the one who decides what happens here. Yes it was by mistake, but you’re not gonna get any cash refund, we will come to your house and give back the money if you don’t get refund online.” He seemed like a very arrogant employee, and not a fair person.
Later when my dad approached the counter, he then acted calling up someone and said it’s on call waiting. And when we got serious about the situation, he opened up the register and magically happened to have the cash and returned it to me.
I finally did not take the food from him for which I paid, and took back my 3300. He had a very rude behavior which did not make me feel like taking food from his store. Beware of such scandalous people, please check your receipts before you move away from the counter and never believe if they say it would get refunded online unless it’s done...
Read moreRecently, I visited Wow! Momo and tried two of their offerings – the Himalayan Steam Momos priced at ₹109 and the Garlic Momos priced at ₹169. At first glance, you really can’t make out a significant difference between the two varieties in terms of looks, but when it comes to taste, both were satisfying. The Himalayan Steam Momos had a very simple and authentic flavor, soft on the outside with a nicely cooked filling inside. The Garlic Momos, on the other hand, carried a stronger aroma and a slightly richer taste due to the added garlic flavor, though I personally felt the difference wasn’t very dramatic to justify the extra price.
That being said, the momos overall were delicious, fresh, and served hot. The chutneys and dips that came along were also really good and complemented the momos well. One thing I particularly liked was the consistency in quality – the momos were soft, well-steamed, and not chewy at all.
However, I do feel the pricing is on the higher side, especially considering the portion size and the minimal difference between the regular and premium options. Spending nearly ₹170 on a plate of momos feels slightly steep. Still, if you’re someone who doesn’t mind paying a bit extra for taste and hygiene, Wow! Momo is worth a try. Overall, I would say it’s a must-try experience for momo lovers, but just keep in mind that you’re paying more for the brand and ambiance than for a big...
