Kamling Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Jabalpur

I tried Kamling in Jabalpur recently and was not too impressed. I ordered the chilli chicken and all mix, but the food didn’t turn out as good as expected. The chicken pieces in the chilli chicken were a bit overcooked and tasted slightly burnt, which really affected the flavor. The seasoning and overall taste felt average, nothing that would make me want to order again.

The portion size was decent, and the service was okay, but when it comes to taste, it definitely needs improvement. For the price, I expected better quality and more consistency.

Overall, an average experience. Kamling might be fine for a quick bite, but based on my visit, I wouldn’t recommend it for those looking for good-quality...

WORST!!!! restaurant ever, they are lying to you. To all who think they also serve veg. They are playing with our beliefs. They are serving egged noodles with veg. I ordered soup and then felt something odd, then asked the staff they said there's egg in the dry noodles. Why TH they are serving non veg if they specifically said veg soup in their menu.

I complaint the manager but he is just standing there and saying by mistake. How the hell they mistake veg with non veg not this time. Their staff said they use egged noodles always. Then write specifically in your menu that you are nonveg restaurant.

I don't recommend it to anyone. I have filed a complaint in the consumer forum...

₹100 FOR ADDING MUSHROOM TO THE SOUP

We needed mushroom added into the chicken hot and sour soup so we told them that we would pay more for it and they still denied. Then we had to add another mushroom soup to the bill just to get extra mushrooms added into one soup.

New Update (April 13th 2021): As soon as my friend came out of the restaurant they turned the lights off and she had no vision of anything, she came out of the dark lobby outside the restaurant blinded, when the restaurant staff was confronted about it, they had a very unapologetic attitude towards the incident.
