This is a market with many kind of things available. Things are not cheap here and you have to pay almost double of the money for almost all things. There are two dairies here one belongs to Saras and another is from Amul. Dairy products can be found in normal prices. There are around 3 shops which sell vegetables in which one also sell fruits and fruit juice. There are few shops which sell stationary material. You can find medical store here which is directed from Apolo group. One shop is there named Basant Bahar where you can get good quality sweets, samosa, kachori, lassi and namkeen. One shop is famous in this area for its it's egg products. It's name is Sanjay Omelette. There is an ATM machine powered by HDFC bank where you can withdraw money from your debit card. Very nice experience and staff helpful but promote new brands of products more even when other brand required was in shop. Example bikaji tana Bana was asked but staff said not in stock and promoted diet a Maharashtra state khata metha nankeen. On searching inside lot of beekaji and haldiram packets of similar taste were available ..I took both my choice and the new product for comparison which of the two is better. Initially This market had no name. There was a shop in this Small market named "JANATA STORE" around 1960-61 which was very popular. It was owned by shri Paliwalji and was in existence till 2010 or so, when Paliwalji's sons decided to call it a day and closed the shop. In absence of a name residents of Bapunagar started calling the market Janata Store as a landmark. Later Authorities named it as Central Market but it is still called...
