Rawat Misthan Bhandar in Jaipur offers a mixed dining experience that highlights both its strengths and areas for improvement. During my visit, I sampled a variety of dishes that showcased the restaurant's culinary range. The pyaaz kachori, priced at Rs. 50, stood out with its delicious taste and satisfying filling. However, I found the chutney was missing, which was a letdown as it typically complements the kachori perfectly.Next, the paneer naan was ordered, but I found it surprisingly sweet, which did not align with my expectations for a savory dish. This flavor profile might appeal to some, but it was not to my taste. On a positive note, the hakka noodles were delightful, offering a well-balanced blend of flavors and textures. The dish was well-prepared and showcased the restaurant's capability to deliver tasty Indo-Chinese cuisine.Hygiene standards at Rawat Misthan Bhandar were commendable, with clean dining areas and hygienic food preparation evident throughout the visit. Moreover, the waiting time after ordering was reasonable, ensuring a relatively prompt service experience. In conclusion, Rawat Misthan Bhandar offers a diverse menu with some standout dishes like the pyaaz kachori and hakka noodles. However, inconsistencies such as the overly sweet paneer naan and missing chutney detracted from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. For those looking to explore local flavors with good hygiene standards and efficient service, Rawat Misthan Bhandar is worth considering, keeping in mind the nuances of dish preparation and flavor profiles.

If you’re in Jaipur and want a true taste of Rajasthani street food with a legendary touch, Rawat Misthan Bhandar is a must-visit. Pyaaz Kachori Their signature item and rightly so. The Pyaaz Kachori is crisp on the outside, generously stuffed with a spicy onion filling that’s full of flavor. It has a dry, flaky texture that holds well even after cooling down — perfect for takeaway. While it doesn’t come with chutney (which some might miss), the kachori itself carries enough punch to stand on its own. Mirch Kachori If you like a little kick, the Mirch Kachori is worth trying. It’s not overly spicy as the name might suggest — rather, it’s well-balanced, with a flavorful green chili and potato mix inside. Crunchy, savory, and filling — though not as iconic as the Pyaaz one. Mawa Kachori This one’s a sweet surprise — literally. Deep-fried, dipped in sugar syrup, and stuffed with rich mawa (khoya) and dry fruits, the Mawa Kachori is indulgent and festive. It’s quite heavy, so one piece is usually enough, but it’s a dessert you won’t forget easily. Pros: Consistently fresh and flavorful snacks Quick service despite crowd Ideal for both dine-in and take-away Cons: No chutney served with kachoris Seating can get crowded during peak hours Slightly on the pricier side compared to local vendors

Good for Small Groups, Spacious Seating Area, Parking Space Available, Breakfast, Fancy Crowd, Cleanliness. Mewa Kachori, Mirchi Pakora, Ghewar Rabdi, Onion Kachori, Kachodi, Pyaz Ki Kachori is a must try. This popular street food joint in Jaipur is perfect for a healthy family banter over delicious grubs. Dubbed as one of the best family restaurants in Jaipur, this eatery offers a vast menu and about 50 varieties of sweets to choose from. Locals identify Rawat Mishthan Bhandar for its spicy plate of pyaaz kachori, delectable Indian sweets like ghewar and other street food options like golgappe, dal baati churma, and cheese puchka. Especially, if you are new to the city, this outlet is a must-visit. Pyaz kachori is quite famous at this place, also found it tasty. It was served fresh hot into the plate. As this is a sweet shop itself, I found #pineapplepetha as one of the delicious sweets at this place. It was rich and unique as well. This popular eatery has something for everyone. It serves various cuisines like North Indian, Chinese, South Indian, Rajasthani and a must for all vegetarians.

Rawat Misthan Bhandar is a popular sweets and snacks shop in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It has been in business for over 100 years and is known for its delicious kachoris, sweets, and other Rajasthani delicacies. The shop is located in the Sindhi Camp area of Jaipur, and it is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The interior of the shop is small and crowded, but the service is friendly and efficient.

The menu at Rawat Misthan Bhandar is extensive, and it includes a wide variety of kachoris, sweets, snacks, and beverages. Some of the most popular items on the menu include:

Pyaz kachori: This is the shop's signature dish, and it is a must-try for any visitor to Jaipur. The kachori is made with a savory pastry filled with onions, spices, and herbs. It is then deep-fried and served with a sweet and sour chutney.

Jalebi: This is a popular Indian sweet made from a batter of flour and sugar. It is deep-fried and then soaked in a sugar syrup. Jalebi is often served with rabdi or rabri (a thick, creamy milk-based dessert).

Gulab jamun: This is another popular Indian sweet made from milk solids. It is deep-fried and then soaked in a rose-flavored syrup. Gulab jamun is often served with rabdi or rabri.

Lassi: This is a popular Indian beverage made from yogurt, water, and spices. It is often served chilled and is a refreshing way to cool down on a hot day.

The prices at Rawat Misthan Bhandar are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for delicious Rajasthani sweets and snacks.

Here are some pros and cons of Rawat Misthan Bhandar Jaipur:

Pros:

Delicious food Reasonable prices Generous portions Friendly and efficient service Long history and tradition Cons:

The shop can be crowded, especially on weekends The interior of the shop is small Not all of the staff speak English Overall, I would give Rawat Misthan Bhandar Jaipur a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. It is a great place to go for delicious Rajasthani...

: Overhyped and Underwhelming*

I recently visited Rawat Misthan Bander, a place that’s been highly recommended and seems to have a massive fan following. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying, and I feel the hype around this place is completely unjustified.

To start, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the kachori, which is one of their signature items, but to my surprise, it came without chutney. For anyone familiar with Indian snacks, chutney is an essential accompaniment that elevates the flavor. Without it, the kachori felt dry and lacked the punch I was expecting.

The overall taste of the food was nothing special—it was average and forgettable. I honestly don’t understand why this place is so popular. The quality just doesn’t match the reputation.

The service was also lackluster. There was no effort to make the dining experience enjoyable or memorable. It felt like the place is riding solely on its hype, with little attention to detail or customer satisfaction.

In my opinion, Rawat Misthan Bander is overhyped and doesn’t live up to the expectations it sets. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian snacks, there are far better options out there. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Honest take: It’s just not...
