SkyWaltz Cafe — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

As we open the doors to India’s Only Aviation themed cafe, and seat ourselves, what we see is a very eccentric ambiance that celebrates the art of flying machines. Our table had momento models of the Wright brothers aircraft, while the designs of cushions and cutlery speaks of aero-science and its history. White wrought-iron cycle placed inside with beautiful flowers in its basket just balanced the aero-act. From a hot-air balloon basket in one corner, hanger lights, sturdy metal chains to hold the furniture in place to the chance of dining in raised mid-air swing style, everything about the ambiance of the cafe spells exclusivity.

We ordered for a spinach, sundried tomato, corn, olives & feta pizza, fish & chips for our non-veg loving colleagues, and Wok-fried wild mushrooms & sesame chilli sauce. The drinks included coffee, and vanilla & caramel milkshake. Even their open-kitchen we noticed had an interesting interior with those uniquely hanging onions and garlic ! While going around the place, we noticed that our pizzas were being baked in an earthen oven in a very nouveau style, and the results confirmed just that! Good-food, rather great food makes the whole trip worthwhile; the fish served with the tartar sauce was succulent. Terrible service!!! We waited for half an hour and not a single waiter came to us. Then after half an hour of waiting we called a waiter to serve water atleast, which he later forgot. Meanwhile we asked 3 more waiters to serve water in this sizzling summer of jaipur. They all also ignored. After 45 mins they served us water. Apart from that such rude stafff i tell you, there was a lady who actually rolled her eyes at us when we changed the table. Very improper management, almost every 6 or 8 person table was occupied by 2 person at most and we 5 persons were made to sit on a table of 3. Coming to food...no salt cellars were placed on table...we almost filled our stomach from water because of delayed service....Unclean tables...they weren't even cleaning the table afterwards. Pathetic taste....extremely less quantity compared to the price.

In the end when we asked them to pack our leftover food....2 waiters knew but they both forgot. And after waiting for 35 mins kr so...when we asked them...they told us they forgot and are now packing fresh food instead of our leftover. Well thats the only gesture we appreciated. 2 stars only for you dude. Apart from that terrible experience. Not...

The ambience definitely is great. In my personal opinion I feel it should be more brighter inside. The server kept on bringing the mineral water bottle even after denying it the first time. It's their way of upselling it by already placing it on the table. I had a pizza, which was good as expected. The service has to be improved as it is a bit slow and the grooming of the staff needs to be looked at in much detail. The cappuccino! It was a horror. Sorry. But that's the only word that comes to my mind when I notice how the frothing was done. Much works needs to be done there and they definitely need to ckeand dry the coffee bean grinder as there was a clear moist aroma that comes into a coffee when the beans have been lying in the grinder for quite sometime. Please remember that I'm not saying the cafe is bad or the staff is bad, they just need proper training and attention to detail. Will visit someday again. Definitely to click pictures in the outdoor area....
