Topaz & Sangria — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

Pathetic place, very rude and unprofessional staff. I got my decoration done for a birthday candle light dinner and they charged Rs 1600 which was not worth at all. I coordinated with Isha- Manager and she is the most unprofessional person I have come across in hospitality sector. She was rude, and started screaming and is such an ill - mannered lady. Never ever visit the place, the reasons are below:

I paid 1600 for the candle light dinner decoration with additional Rs 150 love board that they forgot to keep on table, when I reached there I asked them to keep it on table. They bought it front if all of us, during the moment so the decoration was incomplete.

I specifically asked them to give me middle cabin for a candle light dinner privacy. but they got the decoration done in first cabin that was not what I asked for, and When I tried explaining the staff they just don’t listen and are very rude and mentioned all chambers are booked, but when I reached there the middle chamber was empty, hence there was no one.

When I asked staff to put on some romantic music, they gave preference to other guests and played their songs for 15-20 minutes and refused to entertain us.

Their speaker quality was worst, the sound was very bad of the speaker.

When I reached there, I had to ask staff to switch on AC/cooler as it was very humid even after I called them 15 mins before reaching there for better preparation and experience

When I asked staff to tell us about the speciality of the food in their restaurant, they said they don’t know and went to other guests and entertained them.

All this spoiled the Birthday celebration that I pre-planned. I left as is without even eating anything there as there no service for 15-20 mins and we were unheard. The staff was not giving attention and did not hear to our needs in terms of decoration, choice of chamber, music and food.

When I tried calling Isha- who took money from us 1600, she didn’t pick up the calls. When I called her next day she didn’t pick as well. After 2 days I spoke to her and she is totally a non-hospitable lady, I tried explaining her about my bad experience very patiently and asked for at least half refund she got so unprofessional and tried to become so defensive and told me ‘mam Mai to manager hu meri galti ni hai, mai vaha ni thi, staff ki galti hai mujhe kyu bol rhe ho, I mean really she took money from us and she was responsible for all the arrangements and training/briefing her staff, which she got failed at it, and instead of listening the client issues patiently she screamed with such rude behaviour and Arrogant attitude.

Never ever visit this place, the ambience, service and staff is bad. 0 customer...

My first negative review Booked Anniversary With Candle Light package at Rs 2000 (only for decorated table setup way too much as compared to decoration). I booked based on the basis of online review. For booking I talked to Ms. Priya and asked specifically that if this setup will work in day and she confirmed that yes it will. I thought that the cabin offered are indoor or covered by curtains but that was on rooftop . So candle light was strict no in day (although I am also at fault that I took candle light in day but it was my first experience 😑 and I thought that they must have setup indoor or covered by curtains). I expect from service provider that they should not only focus on their business but customer satisfication if customer is not aware or making a wrong selection atleast once it should be suggested. Thus I was disappointed at the way event unfolded. And the expense of Rs 2000 for this candle light setup in evening is also on a higher side so no value for money. Although food was good paneer was of excellent quality but raita was not good.and service was excellent...

Topaz & Sangria: Great views, good food, almost perfect ambience

Topaz & Sangria offers a lovely dining experience, especially if you're looking for a romantic evening with a view. The rooftop seating (Sky Deck) with candlelight creates a wonderful ambience, and the view of Nahargarh Fort is quite picturesque.

The food itself was good. We tried a mix of Indian and Asian dishes, and everything was flavorful and well-cooked. The price point is reasonable, especially considering the nice ambience.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars. The service, while friendly, could have been a touch more attentive at times. Additionally, the rooftop seating, while charming, can be a bit chilly in the evenings, so be sure to dress warmly if you choose that option.
