Vegetarian By Choice — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

It was day of Eid and the 'serve-yourself restaurant' on at Triton Mall was so crowded, disturbed and noisy so we dropped our plan to have something to eat here and were about to return when we bumped into this restaurant. It looked nice from appearance. It was humid outside so it was great relief entering the reasonably well maintained restaurant room. There was just one group sitting. The menu was impressive but we were told that things we were interested in were not available. What we ordered was OK in quantity but the gravy of Hariyali Kofta had excessive salt apart from being very oily and thick. It was first time in my life that I got such excessively salty gravy in any kind of restaurant or Dhaba. Usually I dont like to quarrel over quality of food so I tried to subside the salt by adding lemon juice. Tadka Dal was OK. Rates are not very high but if the quality of food is always like this then it is not value for money. When I paid the bill, the change I was returned had badly soiled notes which were mended with tape. This exposed the mentality of management or the staff working at the restaurant. Taste is worst. Badam thandai we ordered , trust me there no thandai in it. Not even 1 teaspoon. Instead they served watery milk. We ordered mojito, it was not cold also mojito syrup was added in very limited qty that there was no taste of it. On the top of it, the man was damn rude. Pathetic.
