This place is all you wouldn't want any restaurant to be like! Terrible food, horrible service and complete mismanagement. It is the perfect example of a good concept that fails due to lack of good execution.
The restaurant has completely connected tables through a railway line which looks really good. But one since all the tables are connected there is no space for the waiter to serve the food to the people at the end of the table. The food is supposed to come over a train that runs over the railway line but there is no way in which the people on the table can control the speed of the train.
We ordered the tomato basil and cheese soup and it tasted as if someone took a bottle of tomato ketchup mixed it with water and grated some cheese into it and sprinkled some dry basil leaves on it and served it cold! Yes, the soup was not even hot! Then we ordered a white sauce pasta which was sweet. Next came the dahi ke kebab which were sweet again. Guess the chef replaced salt with sugar đ then we had the paneer shashlik sizzler which was served to us after ten mins of arrival at our table and had become cold by then. The waiter had no training of how it had to be served and each plate ended up having either just vegetables or just rice or just the paneer pieces and even though it would have been a good dish the entire procedure spoiled the experience.
For the main course we had ordered some tandoori rotis, paneer shashlik and mixed vegetables which were average. The management had to really work hard on service. The waiters were having a tiff in front of the customers and each table was not assigned a particular table which was causing all the confusion. In all the worst experience I...
Read moreYesterday I visited this restaurant with my family. We ordered soups, spring roll, singapore noodles, fried rice and pizza. 1- Soups- The soups were okayish and coz they have a very sour taste. 2- Spring roll - Spring roll was like an average spring roll which we get from roadside thela and small shops which consists of lots of unstrained oil which drenches your fingers. 3- Singapore noodles- These are the worst noodles I had in my entire life. I am a big fan of Chinese food and had singapore noodles quite a lot of times but these noodles at this restaurant were pathetic, no taste , no sauces and full of turmeric. Fried rice - out of all these food items I can say fried rice was the best because it has ideal taste. Pizza- we ordered tandoori paneer pizza where the paneer was totally bland. They just add it over the sauce and named it tandoori paneer pizza. Now let's come to the pricing of these food items, they were not worth than 200 rs (that too because of the restaurant) but they are charging more than 400 rs for noodles which is i believe 200 times the worth of those noodles. The food was so over priced that out bill was around 4000 rs. The ambience is decent, they have made it in the form of a train which looks good but they have to work on the chairs and sofa's, the sofas were torn from the head rest area which doesn't looks nice. The staff was too slow, we have to tell them to get the plates and cutlery to eat. At one point we had to ask them to give us cutlery to serve our food. Overall I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The train and all fancy stuff are ok but if a restaurant does not provide good and value for money food then there's no point of...

âMy visit to Vegetrainian â The Train Restaurant, Jaipur turned out to be extremely disappointing. The true value of any restaurant is not determined solely by its food or ambience, but equally by the behavior of its staff and the respect shown towards its customers. Unfortunately, this is where the place failed completely.
The staffâs attitude was far from professional. The way they communicated was rude and dismissive, clearly reflecting a lack of understanding of even the basic principles of hospitality. As a customer, instead of feeling welcomed and respected, I felt ignored and insulted.
It is important to note that we are paying for our meals here, not eating for free. When a customer spends their hard-earned money, the least they deserve is courtesy and respectful treatment. Sadly, that was completely absent during my visit.
No matter how good the food or theme may be, when the service and staff behavior are unacceptable, the entire experience becomes negative. For me, this visit was not just disappointing but also deeply hurtful to my sense of self-respect.
To put it simply â this is not a place I would ever return to, nor can I recommend it to anyone. A restaurant that makes its customers feel insulted fails in its most fundamental purpose â to provide a pleasant and welcoming...
