I recently visited it, located just opposite the Pahalgam taxi stand, and overall, the experience was pretty good â with just one major hiccup. The food here is affordable, tasty, and satisfying, making it a great choice for budget travelers or anyone looking for a fulfilling meal without burning a hole in the pocket.

While the food did have a homely touch in terms of preparation style, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. The Dal Makhani, unfortunately, was slightly sour, which affected the overall taste of the meal. The Chana Masala and other North Indian dishes were decent, but nothing exceptional stood out.

Another drawback was the long waiting time. The food took quite a while to arrive, and considering the taste and quality, it didnât feel entirely worth the wait.
If youâre in Pahalgam and craving vegetarian North Indian food, Punjabi Rasoi is an option â but manage your expectations. The experience was just okay, and thereâs definitely room for improvement in both flavour and...
