Domino's Pizza | Golmuri, Jamshedpur — Restaurant in Jharkhand

I would like to bring a very important issue to light here. I have had multiple experiences where the Dominos delivery guy has called me and asked about my location. Mind you that the restaurant is just 150-200 metres from my location. Once the delivery guy confirms the location, he tells me that he is marking the order as delivered and that he is on his way and would reach me within 5 mins. When this happened for the first time I was unaware of their tricks and allowed the delivery guy to mark the order as delivered as I thought that he would reach soon but on that occasion he came almost half an hour after contacting me. This really annoyed me and then I understood that these guys are doing so to save themselves from the penalty that they face on delivering the order late (My order was a 30-min delivery guaranteed order). I received my order almost after an hour of placing it but I could not do anything because they marked the order as delivered before 30 mins, which was wrong. After few days when I ordered again, there was another delivery guy who called me and told me the same thing but this time I refused them for marking my order as delivered before it was actually delivered. The delivery guy argued with me on this occasion but I stuck to my point. The restaurant staff is using such tactics to gain more orders than they can actually fulfill and are using this trick to call people and tell them that they are marking their order as delivered as they are just on their way to deliver the same. You keep calling them but they will deliver the order at their own time because once they have marked the order as delivered they do not have any pressure of delivering it within 30 mins. If the franchisee owner or anyone in the higher management is seeing this feedback, please take some action against your staff at Golmuri branch as it is happening day in and out, and possibly with many other...

The Jamshedpur Golmuri outlet has several short comings as of 25th Dec 2022: The order from the Dominos app from inside the store failed multiple times, probably due to poor store integration or app problem. Staff didn't provide the relevant pizza base options and took it for granted that we wanted the most expensive base! Zero AC and ventilation within the store, even though we're still to come out of Corona. Had to explicitly ask for the bill twice which is completely unacceptable! This is also helpful to review the order/prices charged. Could see a roach on the table, thankfully, after the meal was finished.

The branch is violating the Dominos condition of 30 min delivery guarantee and is abashedly arrogant about the same. Allow me to explain the issue to you in detail.

So I live in a locality ( Vijaya Gardens, Baridih) which generates a high volume of orders for the branch. So they bring all the orders together and sometimes it's almost 2hrs late than the guaranteed delivery time.
