Loop — Restaurant in Jharkhand

This will be a long post, so please bear with it. The setting is on a roof. From the elevator, one has to climb up 2 flights of stairs. After the "registration" where cell numbers are given to the airconditioned reception, guests are ushered in to the roof-top property. It is a glass-rooftopped gastrobar with an opening at the centre. There is no air-conditioning in the dining area. The washrooms have air-conditioning & the enclosure playing loud music has air-conditioning. Hence, I guess thr crowd comes in only in the evening. Nothing fancy - there are lots of places to move around. It's a nicely done up property, so there are places where one can click photos & selfies. There is a statue of The Buddha also (what's He doing in a place where people drink liquor?) I guess nowadays, such statues also serve as a decoration ( where is the world coming to?) As made ourselves comfortable, a group of boys came & sat adjacent to us & started to drink whiskey & also started to smoke after a while. Small request to management -please make separate smoking & non-smoking areas if you want families to have a good time at your place. Food & drinks- we ordered two mocktails and a starter. Main course was a Burmese bowl & a noodles dish. One Mr. Pintu & later Mr. Vikram served us & guided us on a lot of things which was very nice to see. Our best wishes to them in their career. The mocktails were superlicious and were perfect for the weather. Main course was a perfect blend of spice & ingredients. We had the Burmese bowl in Chennai and this was right up there for us. The noodles dish was also very tasty. No complaints. We enjoyed our afternoon. Air-conditioning would have been an added advantage to the property. I hope to come back again. Appeared eye candie paradise at first glance but turned disaster. Pros : You get a photogenic place to boost in Instagram profile. Family friendly environment

Cons: Place is poorly ventilated. You feel suffocated at times. The main area does not have any A.c. The sprinkling fans does not serve the purpose and we felt like sitting in an oven. Sweated in an hour. Food is diastarous with menus having overhiped names only. We tried chicken 65 pizza fish and nothing turned good. All were bland and tasted similar. Nothing could be appreciated in food item. After the band was over, the place had an unusual silence. Staff is overall okay. But the food is killing it . Finally we had to move to moca to get some fresh air and good food .

Recommended only to try something new in aspect of design creativity and ambience for filming yourself. But I would not recommend this for food or even a place to hang out especially in the summers. Over hyped place. First and foremost there’s no proper temperature control, no AC to maintain a cool temperature in such hot weather. There are fans which throws air anywhere except towards you. Secondly, change your lady gaurd/bouncer whoever she is, she needs to learn manners and etiquette. Your rules and regulations are not above a persons privacy, incpect the baggage’s not personal items. Service was below average, people serving and waiters where no where near to assist and serve (they remembered after 10-15 mins they have guests to check on). Food was just average. Taste was mediocre(need improvement a lot), both quality & quantity didn’t justify the price. Mocktail was good though.
