The Polo Restaurant in Jodhpur is a great choice for non-vegetarian food lovers, offering a menu that truly satisfies those with a taste for well-prepared meat dishes. The non-veg dishes seem to be the highlight of the menu, with several diners expressing their delight over the rich flavors and excellent quality of the food. Those who opted for non-veg items were extremely pleased, praising the taste and the generous portions.
However, if you're a vegetarian, this might not be the best place to visit. We ordered the sev tamatar, a common Rajasthani dish, and unfortunately, it turned out to be quite underwhelming. The dish lacked flavor and did not meet our expectations, leaving us a bit disappointed. Based on this experience, vegetarians might want to explore other dining options in Jodhpur that cater more to plant-based diets.
The restaurant itself is conveniently located, and we decided to dine here on the recommendation of an auto driver, given its proximity to our hotel. The restaurant's interior is another noteworthy feature, with its theme inspired by the sport of polo. Polo equipment adorns the walls, adding a classy and vibrant touch to the decor, which creates a unique and appealing atmosphere. While the ambiance is pleasant, I would suggest that this restaurant is best enjoyed by non-veg food...
Read more"I had a really bad experience at the restaurant. There was too much oil in the food, it was undercooked, and had too much food color. The food was burnt and tasteless, and it seemed like it wasn't marinated in BBQ sauce properly. Also, they forgot to add some other kind of bread to the bread basket. The Lacha Paratha was undercooked. The service was poor, and every time we needed something, it took forever for them to respond. When I confronted the manager, they didn't seem to care. It also seemed like they didn't have separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. They only gave us a vegetarian menu, so we didn't even know they served non-vegetarian food until we saw another table ordering it. This was definitely my worst dining experience. I wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreRecently I’ve visited Polo restaurant with my family around Diwali Vacation upon my visit to Jodhpur. It was quiet day in the evening as it was Dhanteras. Atmosphere was impressive with good Rajasthani decorations. We’ve ordered Gutta Curry & Laal Mass with Cheese Garlic Naan which was very good in taste. Gutta curry was authentic and even I liked eating their Laal Maas. We were tired during whole day exploration and we’ve also ordered beer for relaxation. Seating arrangements were good with neat and clean crockery. Just for the point of service they need to improve a bit as it was empty restaurant still we have to catch the attention for calling them.
Overall nice restaurant...
