White Earth — Restaurant in Jodhpur

Pathetic place and rude staff. Please note that this review is totally unbiased, unlike other google reviews you would see which are given by friends and family members of the cafe owners. Avoid this place at all cost for the following reasons:

The location is rooftop so you might be tempted to go to this place, but hold your horses before you enter the trap of badly maintained stairs (of course, the elevator is too old to elevate you - no pun intended here).

What is the first thing a waiter does when someone enters a cafe/ hotel/ restaurant - he gets you a glass of water or may be courteous enough to ask the customers for water. I dont need to further explain, but you wont get this.

The famous food places in Jodhpur boasts of their quality, and quality comes along with consistency in food. You would be surprised to know that same food on the same day will taste different without any difference of opinion.

Above all, you will be greeted with bad behaviour (ranging from non-observation of basic customer demand and non-apologetic about anything).

Also, brace yourself to shell out substantial amount for the aforesaid food cum pickle (the quantity is too less to called as...

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!

I visited this restaurant with my friends tonight, and we were shocked to be turned away at because we were wearing shorts, cargo pants, and t-shirts. Yes, you read that right - they have a dress code that's more suited to a fancy gala than a casual dinner outing. The staff was rude and unapologetic, telling us that we needed to dress up to be allowed in.

But that was just the beginning of our nightmare. We decided to take the lift to the top floor, and guess what? IT GOT STUCK! We were trapped inside for 10 minutes, sweating and panicking, until someone finally came to rescue us.

And when we finally made it to the seating area, we were appalled to find that it was dirty and unkempt. Tables were sticky, chairs were stained, and the floor was littered with trash.

The restaurant's obsession with dress code seems to have blinded them to the actual quality of their service and amenities. Unless they seriously revamp their priorities, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
