We visited the restaurant with family on a busy afternoon. Despite the rush and several uncleared tables, our wait was not long, and the staff promptly cleaned a table and took our order. Service was reasonably quick, with both dishes arriving within 10 minutes, accompanied by raita and achar. However, the food did not live up to expectations. The Beef Biryani, made with jeeragashala rice, included two large pieces of beef, but the meat was overcooked and tough, while the rice lacked flavour and depth of masala. The Chicken Biryani fared no better the chicken was dry and overcooked, seemingly marinated with little more than black pepper and burnt onions, leaving the dish tasting more like plain masala rice with chicken. The papad was charged to the bill despite being served only upon request, which felt unfair. The mix raita was tangy and enjoyable, but unfortunately, it was the only highlight. The lemon tea was excessively sweet, further adding to the disappointment. While the service was acceptable, the quality of the biryanis fell short of the standards one would expect. With several superior options available in town, I would not recommend this place for biryani...

Best Indian Coffee House in Kannur, maybe in whole Kerala. It's a big building, compared to other ICHs, and also has a conference area with apparently big parking space. The pathway in front is a little bit narrow, as they allow parallel parking on one side. I have been here a couple of times. Food quality is really good. I have tried enough dishes and all of them were fresh and tasty. The biriyani really surprised me. Thalassery and Kannur are famous for the Dum biriyani, but only a few restaurants serve the authentic dish. Here it's close to the real one. I haven't had a better tasting biriyani for a long time. All the dishes I had were really tasty. I have recommended this place to a lot of friends and they are all thanking me for it. Staff behavior is also good. All were patient and helpful. The whole restaurant is kept neat and tidy and also well arranged. Tables are kinda big for 4 persons. But it's ok. The rates are also reasonable. Parking is ok compared to the city. They have extra space in the basement. People can also park up front.

If you're near Dharmasala or coming back from the Parassini Kadavu Temple, this restaurant is a must-visit! I've stopped here multiple times, and it never disappoints. The food is flavorful, and the service goes above and beyond. They're always accommodating for families, even offering extra plates and rice for kids, which is a thoughtful touch. The set dosa, traditional meals, and payasam are highlights—truly delicious and satisfying. Plus, the prices are very budget-friendly, making it a great spot for a family meal without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!
