Uduppi Cafe Pure Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Kalliasseri Block

I am writing to provide feedback on our dining experience at your restaurant today, November 7, 2025, at approximately 9:15 PM. My family of 11 members had dinner at your establishment, and we were initially impressed by the ambiance.

While the food was good, we experienced significant delays and confusion due to what appeared to be a single waiter serving all tables. It took over half an hour for our food to arrive, and even then, dishes were brought out one by one.

The waiter suggested we try the Mysore Dosa and Rameswaram Dosa as your special items. However, after waiting about 15 minutes, we were informed that the Rameswaram Dosa was no longer available. Due to this, we canceled our order for Mysore Dosa and instead ordered plain masala dosa.

Despite these issues and the confusion regarding our orders, we were charged for all food items, including those we had canceled or not received.

To prevent similar issues and improve customer experience in the future, I kindly suggest adding more staff members. This would help avoid confusion and ensure more efficient service for...

Writing this here by being extremely dissatisified. I just walked out of the cafe a couple minutes ago on 27/04/2025 8:40 am. I waited for some time and since none had come to get the order I went to ask if I had to place the order at the counter and the guy in the reception said that the order would be taken at the respective table. I waited for more than 10-15 minutes expecting the order to be taken after which I had asked another personnel to take the order and place it for which the replies were very rude and I walked out Udupi cafe. However rushy it gets have the basic courtesy to let your customer know or at the very least make them feel seen rather than insulting them in front of the others for asking for why they were there in the first place. Disgustingly unhygienic staff, excruciatingly slow in serving, especially in the bakery section. On a previous occasion, the older malayali guy in this section packed mysorepak and other items for me with bare hands after scratching his scalp and face. So this time in the snack section I asked him to wear a plastic glove and you know what he did? Made me wait an extra 15mins eventhough there was nobody else waiting in line, and using the plastic glove kept holding the glass door panes, parcel bags, the bill, and then packed the vadas and samosas, essentially invalidating the purpose of the glove.
