This was originally Kokanratna Hotel. And trust me they had the best food back then. In Malvan Tadka if you are planning to go eat or try malvani food then my friend take it from a real malvani person "DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE.. I REPEAT DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE"....

I ordered surmai fry - no salt I had to put salt on it. Then I ordered chicken malvani and amboli.. now Amboli is made with dosa batter but the size of it was just like any bhakri which killed the mood and the crispy on the one side and soft on the other side detail was missing. Now lets come to chicken malvani gravy- the chef was confused between two words malvani and chicken so he/she put the malvani fish curry and boiled tasteless chicken together and served as malvani chicken.. and the the rice which we received under the name of INDRAYANI BHAAT was indescribable and not in a good way...

If you want to go there try anything normal but do not take risk of eating malvani food.. cause just the ambiance is good and service is quick but they have disrespectfully killed the authenticity of the malvani food. I bet their chef is not at all familiar with the variety of malvani food. Either they should remove MALVAN from their name or learn the original malvani food first and then serve..

The service is pathetic here. I and my family went for dinner today i.e 7 Sep. Literally the wait time for our starter was about 25 min and wait that's not only case. After that the waiting time for our main course was about n hour . Literally I asked waiter n the staff like it's late everytime they said mam 2 min . Literally I have to stand n search for manager for complaint. Like if there was a delay on every table i could have understand but the both side of our table we have ordered almost same time and they were getting their orders very early before us. Like literally when we get our main course they were washing their hands in bowl . I just don't understand like aisabhi nahi ki humne kuch hatke alag ki order Kiya tha we ordered normal dishes . While leaving the man in charge said sorry but if the problem was genuine we could have understand why everyone around us got serviced n delay in our only table. We had come there on the occasion of father's birthday so this hotel will always be remembered to us but in very negative way. Our family only goes to restaurant during birthday events hardly we go 4-5 times in a year and like this kind of incidents.
