Read moreStepping into Oishi is like entering a haven of calm and tasteful design. The restaurant boasts a truly great ambiance, making it an inviting space for a meal, whether you're looking for a quiet dinner or a catch-up with friends. If you're feeling adventurous and seeking to explore new culinary horizons, Oishi definitely presents an opportunity. Their Japanese offerings, including sushi and bao, are available for those eager to try authentic flavors. It's worth noting, however, that Japanese cuisine can be quite distinct, and what delights one palate might not resonate with another. Therefore, a cautious approach of trying a small portion first before committing to a larger order seems prudent. For those who prefer familiar tastes, Oishi also offers a selection of general dishes. From comforting pizzas to refreshing mocktails and flavorful soups, these options appear to be reliable choices. This makes Oishi a versatile spot, catering to both the experimental eater and those who appreciate classic dishes. Overall, Oishi offers a pleasant dining experience with a lovely atmosphere and the potential for exciting culinary discoveries, alongside the comfort of...

Charging such an exorbitant amount for plain rice is absurd and unjustifiable. Their Hakka Noodles, priced at ₹355, was another major disappointment. The taste was indistinguishable from what one could get at a local restaurant for just ₹100. The only difference here was the steep price tag, making it feel like you're paying more for the ambiance than the food quality. The cost of the water was way more than the cost of iced-tea. I did notice, however, that the restaurant was liked by locals because in a town like Kanpur, Oishi stands out as something new. Many locals, who likely haven't had the opportunity to taste authentic Asian cuisine, find the flavors here enjoyable. But for those of us who know what real Asian cuisine should taste like, this place is a massive flop for our taste buds and wallets. I spent about ₹3399 in total which was definitely...
