Paradise Restaurant — Restaurant in Karaikal

My Worst experience in paradise restaurant Karaikal... 2 oct 2022 I had visited paradise restaurant for a treat in my fam.friends call.... They choose paradise for their special Mandi biryani, biryani ect... And restaurant is very clean n good.... Even though we didn't get our reserved table first... restaurant people arrange the dining table that we reserved after...10 min min....we took it easy... It's ok it happens.food is good n tasty....rate is ok good serving... But ... Very next day ..we had a worst experience with this restaurant.. .... After visiting this place we had good opinion on them and called my whole family members of 14 including kids to have a special lunch there. We called restaurant by 12.40 to reserve a dining table for 14 the person in call asks timing we fixed by 1.30 as we need to travel to reach this restaurant.by 1.40 we reached there .. infact restaurant called as by 1.35 as we could n't come there.. on booked time ..... Dining table was very neatly ready to serve plated with cutlery n water bottles n glass r neatly arranged....we happily sat and ordered soup....all the kids were hungry n eger to try Mandi first time...... By the time server says Mandi is finished....oops....it's limitedly prepared.... Oh god we came here allthe way from velankanni tempting about Mandi to kids crossing many hotels... Then what else you have ...server says hyderabadi biriyani today .... Ok pls give asap..... After few mins he returned from kitchen says biriyani also finished.... Excuse me.... What u r saying..... We reserved a here.that too for 14 person. He says U didn't ordered Mandi r biriyani in call. How come customer know that restaurant will finish biriyani even after booking table.restaurant might alert us about limited food availablity while we reserve for table by 12.40 so that we might go some another hotel. With disappoint and hunger we cameout cancelling soup. Are we booked a table for 14 to have noodles r fried rice here ..?? There is hundreds of hotels in highways...

Hotel Paradise, Karakol – A complete disaster, avoid at all costs

Our family trip to Karakol became a humiliating ordeal at Hotel Paradise. We were six people, including elders, and I regret trusting the online reviews and local suggestions.

Table manipulation and lies On arrival, we were assured a table. Minutes later, it was handed over to a man with his large family. Staff lied that it was “already booked” and, shockingly, suggested our elders sit on the floor. They promised to arrange separate tables but never did, treating us as if we were asking for charity rather than paying to dine.

No basics and poor hygiene No one offered water; when we asked, they placed bottled water to buy instead of serving regular drinking water. Plates were sticky with food stains from earlier use. Menu cards were not given until we asked multiple times, and service was reluctant from the start.

Slow, unfair service and bad food While the owner’s family, who arrived after us, got quick VIP treatment, we waited endlessly. Orders came out in random order—mushroom manchurian arrived last, long after appetites had faded. The naan was hard, brittle, and tasted like undercooked dough. The chicken starter was a scam, with two legs cut into four pieces passed off as a half portion. Only the biryani was barely acceptable, and the Kashmiri pulao was average.

Hygiene horror A hair strand was found in one of the starters. There was no apology, no replacement, and no acknowledgment from the staff.

Billing apathy Even when we wanted to pay and leave, we had to call the staff multiple times for the bill, while they walked around ignoring us.

Final advice: If you value dignity, hygiene, and basic courtesy, avoid this place. This is not hospitality, it is arrogance mixed with neglect. Many far better restaurants in Karakol will treat you with respect. Never again. Not...

Dated:19/10/2024 Me and my friends had a very good dine in with comfort.First we start with special menu we tasted chettinad mutton soup in sour spicy taste along with garlic honey wings chicken and varities of food like non veg platter which includes fish finger,sheek kebab, tandoori chicken,hariyali kebab, mutton kebab with tangy mint chutney and mayonnaise combined with carrot onion cabbage salad.we go with mutton bhuna gravy accomplished by garlic butter naan.The name of the restaurant is actually worth as of the dishes they served with hot and delicious taste.there ambience is too good either we can have table to dine in or private space for friends and family.To have lot of choices of food in all varieties we have to be there at not near the closing time.There restroom is available in the backside of the restaurant it was very clean and maintained well in good manner.
