MUTHUPILLAIS 1918 BAKERY — Restaurant in Karaikal

Very worst customer service.. speaking very harshly to the customers... I have ordered a cake the cake was billed by owner's son who was the co owner. The bill payment 1200 rupees. I paid 1000 rs in advance. At the time of delivery the owner's son was not there and the owner this cake was 1400 you want to pay 400 rs balance. I was shocked. He said the 200 rs extra charge was for the flower design and he is very rude with the words. I said this is not my mistake I ordered this model cake and your son billed it for 1200 rs then how you are saying like this he replied if you ant this you want to pay 1400. Finally I have paid that 200 extra charges for that flower design becoz there is no option for me .The delivery was not done in proper timing Iam waited long time. And the packaging of the cake was very worst there is no bakery parcel box they are with some other biscuits box. I was totally upset with the service. I won't recommend anybody to this shop again. A very good and pioneer bakery at Karaikal. Once they used to supply their baked items to Nagapattinam too as there was no good option at Nagapattinam. Here the quality is too good and certain cake items are a bit costly. But, certain items like cup cake , doughnut, rusk, mini bread and coconut bread items are available @ affordable price too. Even they are serving delicious sweets and savouries too. The standard of the bakery items are too good and they are the pioneers.
