Appalling Experience at Your So-Called “Pet Friendly” Restaurant
I visited your hotel sometime back today with my pet dog: Sunlight (he's much more than this to me) - we sat at table # 130, expecting a genuinely pet-friendly dining experience.
While the ambience was lovely, everything else was a disaster, from the service to the food quality. If your goal was to make a lasting impression, congratulations—you succeeded, just for all the wrong reasons.
Let me break it down for you:
A Joke of a Pet Menu – Your “pet-friendly” menu is an insult. Boiled chicken, boiled eggs, rice, and curd—basic at best. No boiled veggies were listed, and I had to insist on getting them – when I did get them, they were barely boiled too. How is it that a restaurant claiming to cater to pets can’t even offer a balanced nutritious meal for them?
Pathetic Portion Sizes, Outrageous Prices – I ordered boiled chicken, boiled veggies, and three eggs for my adult Labrador. What arrived wouldn’t have satisfied a three-month-old puppy. To make matters worse, your pricing for these pitiful portions is outright ridiculous.
Raw, Rushed, and Inedible – The so-called “boiled” chicken and veggies were practically raw. It was clear that the kitchen was in a hurry to toss something on a plate and send it out. If this is what you consider a proper meal, I’d hate to see what you serve when you’re actually busy.
My Own Food Was a Disaster – I specifically asked for gravy without spice. What I got was fiery enough to strip paint off your walls. Clearly, my request wasn’t even acknowledged. Does your kitchen take customer preferences seriously, or do they just do whatever they please?
Service? What Service? – The food wasn’t even served. I had to serve myself—at a full-service restaurant. Salt and pepper? Nowhere to be found. I asked for hot water, and—shockingly—it was completely forgotten. The lack of attention to basic service standards was appalling.
Here’s the reality: Calling yourself “pet-friendly” isn’t about slapping a label on your restaurant. It’s about actually giving a damn.
If you truly cared, you wouldn’t serve laughable portions at absurd prices, dish out half-raw food, or force customers to play waiter at their own table.
You don’t just have a service problem—you have a respect problem. Respect for your customers, respect for their requests, and respect for the very concept of hospitality.
Frankly, I wouldn’t come back even if you rolled out the red carpet. And I’ll be making sure no pet parent or diner I know wastes their time or money here either.
Fix your menu. Fix your service. Fix your attitude. Because bad experiences like this don’t just get forgotten—they get talked about.
The only thing I wasn’t charged for is the finger bowl I...
