We visited Aaleeshan for a Sunday brunch, and while the food itself was good, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The service was slow, which left the dishes cold by the time they reached the table.Orders were not properly followed up, and the staff seemed inattentive at times.
Drinks were served late, even after asking multiple times. To make matters worse Dessert was served before the main course, and when it was brought back later, it had melted… Usually, in a set menu, the food is served pre-plated, but in our case, the servers left the starters on the table for us to serve ourselves — and they were already cold when brought out. Read moreWe had a great experience at Aaleeshan, the mughlai restaurant at JW Marriott Golf restaurant. It has both indoor as well as outdoor seating with views of the lake and Nandi hills. The staff was courteous and ready to serve you, the service was highly personalised. Coming to food which is the most critical aspect, it was outstanding. Nihari was perfect and midly spiced, new Zealand lamb chops was juicy, chicken tandoori kabab was tender and well done. They were devoured with Warqi Parathas and garlic Naan. Also tried the rose Lassi, which was refreshing for a summer evening. The best part was the dessert, Pecan Badam halwa was outstanding, the chef served ot with a coat of chocolate which made it crunchy. Along with the restaurant manager, Chef Riyaz paid a visit to our table and spoke to us, which made it even more special. He is a Indeed a passionate chef, he served us a complimentary dessert, a special gulab jamun. We had a fantastic experience and wish to visit again and next time around will be to experience the awadhi...
