Went in with very low expectations based on online reviews and past experiences at kstdc owned restaurants.

Was surprised to see no option of South Indian meals even at lunch hour. Had to order North Indian or Chinese only. Ordered north Indian dishes and fried rice.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food served. Prepared freshly and served piping hot. The rotis were more like phulkas - not soggy or stretchy at all. And went very well with the north Indian curries. The veg fried rice was quite delicious and much better than what we expected.

Situated within KSTDC hotel velapuri in Belur. The entrance to the restaurant is good

But Food was just okay and service is bad. Once served they did not come back to ask if we needed anything else. Had to run out to look for them to place further order.

Probably they are understaffed but whatever the reason be, it was not at all a good experience.

Not heavy on the pocket. For our meal - we paid 350₹ Mix veg Curd rice 4 chapati.

Decent restaurant. The staff are over worked during peak hours. The kitchen is in a different building. Given the limited dining options in Belur, this gets a 4, else I would give it a 3.
