Barbeque Nation - Hubli — Restaurant in Karnataka

Totally new concept to the food lovers. Must try one time in life. Mr Luv Kumar took charge of serving me. He did his job very well. Starters I have served and allowed on the barbeque to roast more are : 3 Sticks of Basha fish with Kasturi flavour / masala tasted good. 2 Sticks of chicken pieces with masala tasted average. 2 Sticks of prawns with peri-peri masala tasted average. Mutton item like a hollow sausage tasted good. Chicken tikka masala tasted below average. 3 sets of condiments including mango , pudina , tomato , with spoon 3 sets of condiments chilli, mustard, with brushes add up the extra feel for taste buds. In the buffet section : Fresh cut watermelon s, papayas which are not fresh at my time of dining. Prepared seasoned cucumber carrots are too salty n spicy Seasoned sprouts green gram chana are average in taste, as no sprouts seen and very dry to the mouth. Chicken Dhaniya Shorba Soup was 'the best' in taste, expected little less salt. Chicken biryani rice masala is not at all agreeable, rice over baked and chicken pieces with masala is good in taste. Tasted variety of gravies with Kulcha which is good in taste but little hard to chew. Nihari Ghosth is slimy like bhindi like experience to mouth and its little tasty. Murg Kolhapuri is good, tomato flesh like stuff and chicken leg with it is skinless & dry & tasted good. It is mild spicy. Egg masala is mild n different to tongue. Egg is over baked not a good feel to eat. Tasted Aloo Adharaki, Multani Paneer with Rotis. Roties are little bitter in taste. They are crispy outside seemed underbaked in the middle. Aloo Adharaki made from baked Potatos which are cut in to little big pieces and sauted with seasoning. Average in taste. Potatos are also tasted average. Multani paneer : Paneer is good needed a little more baking. Masala is new and mild. Gravy suits with rotis but felt too salty is the combination Pindi : Made from bada chana suits with roti. Average in taste and a new masala taste to me. Phirni : Yellowish kheer like sweet dish tasted like badam milk average in taste. Boat shaped tiny Bowl have extra attraction to it. I took little fleshy like things with it to see what it is made of. Found the fleshy pieces are under baked semolina! Local Rava ganji with attractions!! Chocolate brownie is good nothing special.. little hard than expected.. Tiny Pastries 🍰 cake looked attractive with extra fittings over the top and the layered yellowy colour.. and tasty with juicy feel to mouth.. liked it. Mango cheese pastry : Butter topped cake was too buttery! Nothing more can be tasted apart from butter and over sweetened thing.. very delicate to pick from spoon. No mango flavour in it. Gateaux : A small part taken from a circle shaped big cake studded with papaya like slices. Mingled completely with cream tasted like honey cake in local bakeries. On 27 december 2021 We planned dinner around 9:30 at Barbequenation At Hubli.

To our surprise, one of my friend 1st noticed a big rat wandering under tables and brought to waiters notice who saw went behind it and juzz looking at us if we were noticing him or not he went back to his work but never tried to attend or thought of bringing to the managements notice/ attention.

While I happened to be at Main course again the Big Rodent happen to pass by right next to our dinning table which was witnessed by me, my friends and few other dinners too , the rodent was roaming around under the tables, near the chat stall and made his way to the Cash Counter cabin, where none were present .. He happened to be a regular visitor I suppose as he climbed up the chair, and the in the cabinets behind the chair. I'm sure every moment of his has been clearly capture in the cctv footage as the cameras located had very clear view to capture.

When I happened to inform the 2nd waiter to check on this and call to manager he was walking so casually as if he knew that nothings gonna happen we may juzz speak out loud n call the manager and they may ask for apology and say that we recently had pest control blah blah blah ..

Easy going careless attitude and behaviour was to be seen among the staff. Just sorry and apology for the rat what we saw.

And the best part was, when I heard by the staff - " SORRY SIR WE DIDN'T WANTED OTHER CUSTOMERS TO PANICK THATS WHY OUR STAFF WERE NORMALLY BEHAVING". This shows that they knew that they had a visitor but yet nothing to keep it away, to maintain Hygeine.

We all are aware of the sickness and diseases these rodents carry. Who's responsible if any of the dinners suffer from food poisoning. Especially when we are already goin thru alot with present pandameic and keeping on mour mind that these big organizations would atleast have maintain their standard and norms with respect to Hygeine they fail to it. Thinking of the kids who were playing around they tend to touch n put their hands in mouth unaware of all such unhygienic n unethical way of maintenance.

THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK ANY APPOINTMENTS AT "HUBLI'S...

Today 27 december 2021 at barbeque nation hubballi I n my 2 friends were having dinner. Something unexpected happened. To our surprise there was a big rat roaming around in the ambience, even the waiters after seeing him didn't acted on the situation . But later on the rat came on the table just beside our dining area. N went into food stall n later occupied in the cash register office cabin as its his hiding area. this incident happened between 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm . There were 3 security cameras witnessing the act. Wen v started informing the staff about it they were not even surprised to see the rat as if they see him on regular basis . I personally lost my appetite on spot n never touch a piece of any food over there . The staff came n tried to convience us with their tinny winny sorry n apologies . But thats unacceptable for me coz I m a highly rigid person in terms of hygiene

informing to all the customers wat happens if the food is polluted by the same rat all time n who knows how many rats must be wandering around in the pantry. The same v go n eat there with all the trust that such a big organization maintaining every possible hygiene n safety measures. If there is some sort of food poisoning or any diseases occures after eating the food which spread by rodents who will be responsible for that. After the pandemic hit its unpredictable how health conditions changes drastically. Later on they gave us a discounted bill. attached pic for u r reference. Wen I asked for the proper bill without discount they denied it saying that we have given discount for u people and v cannot change the bill. The fact is paying so much amount n having contaminated food where rats roam freely n openly in all food serving stalls is disgusting. I came home n puked 4 times

Its a fiasco interms of hygiene , How come such a big organization lack interms of pest control N poor hygiene . U can also check the reservation list of people who were dining after 9.30 have witnessed the act of rat in barbeque...
