Terrible experience — ruined my craving for biryani.

I visited Blue Moon after hearing some hype, but it was a huge letdown. I ordered the biryani with a leg piece — it was dry, tasteless, and felt like it had been reheated multiple times. The leg piece was rubbery and had no flavor at all. For the price they charge, I expected at least something fresh and decent.

On top of that, the service was painfully slow. I had to remind the staff twice before they brought my order, and they acted like they were doing me a favor. The place wasn’t even clean — tables were sticky, and the washroom smelled horrible.

A friend had been asking me to go to tumkur since years and we finally visited from Bangalore. Taking a 4 hr drive both ways was all worth time for a dinner.

Time to time I just get the noorani chicken taste memory. All food items were very tasty and very less oily.

Noorani chicken is the speciality there, but grilled/tandoori chicken and gravy items were also good.

The price is also very less as compared to Bangalore.

The entrance is little inside from the street, so you might have to look for a board...
