Buddha Cafe — Restaurant in Karnataka

I arrived late in the evening without a place to sleep and a fever. After having eaten a delicious veg burger the place was going to close (9:30pm). The manager told me I could sleep on the terrace of the restaurant which I did in my hammock. He also brought me blankets, bed sheets and a hot glass of water. The people working here have a heart of gold!

Banana milkshake, coffee and veg burger were all amazing and quite cheap for such a touristy place. Place is also right across the main gate of the monastery....

It is an amazing place. The owner is very polite and helpful. The cafe is on 1st floor playing Hindi songs all the time. the seating arrangement is made inside the cafe as well as on the corridor. We had some home cooked food and some food for kids from here. We all loved tea served by them. As it was just as your drink at home. Even the quantity was good. It was very economic with very tasty food restaurant. I recommend you all. You can also see the menu card I have uploaded...

Place is good with some calming views. Good to relax after sighseeing. Place is not crowded, and service is fast.

Marble Cake is good, and Iced Coffee is OK. A major portion of menu was not available, specially not having iced tea is not acceptable.

When I want there, there was no power. Since it was not much hot, I could bear it, else it will be a bad situation. Ambience is OK, and is on...
