My experience at Chirayu was nothing short of a nightmare. Not only were we subjected to appalling service, but the mismanagement and indifference displayed by both the waiter and the hotel management left us utterly dismayed. Despite placing our order promptly at 9, we faced numerous challenges with the service. Our waiter brought our drinks at 9:48, but unfortunately, the glasses were dirty, visibly tarnishing our dining experience. Even after requesting clean glasses, we were shocked when the same glass was simply dipped in water and returned to us. To compound matters, our meal didn't arrive until 10, despite our repeated requests. As we decided to leave due to the unacceptable treatment we received, the staff didn't even bother to acknowledge our departure. To add insult to injury, when we were ready to leave, suddenly they were concerned about settling the bill, displaying a complete lack of regard for our experience. This level of negligence and disrespect is unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed that we were treated with such disdain. I sincerely hope the restaurant can address these issues to prevent similar disappointments for...

If you're looking for the perfect blend of ambiance and flavor, Chirayu is a hidden gem you shouldn't miss. Nestled amidst a lush garden setting, this open-air restaurant offers a serene escape from the city buzz. Soft fairy lights dangle from trees, casting a warm glow over cozy tables surrounded by blooming flowers and the gentle rustle of leaves.
We went for a light dinner, and every bite was delightful. The grilled vegetable skewers with mint yogurt dip were fresh and flavorful, and the herbed lemon chicken was cooked to perfection—light, juicy, and aromatic. Their signature garden salad with citrus vinaigrette was refreshingly crisp, and paired beautifully with the house-baked multigrain bread.
The staff was warm and attentive, adding to the already soothing atmosphere. If you're into relaxing dinners under the stars, paired with genuinely tasty food, this place is a must-visit.

We visited Chirayu Hotel for dinner and absolutely loved the food. We tried the Guntur Chicken, Mutton Methi Dry, Angara Chicken, Neer Dosa, and Kundapur Chicken – every single dish was just awesome! • Guntur Chicken had the perfect spice kick, full of flavor without being overpowering. • Mutton Methi Dry was a standout – tender pieces of mutton with a lovely methi aroma, very well balanced. • Angara Chicken was smoky, juicy, and full of taste, exactly how it should be. • Neer Dosa was soft and fresh, pairing beautifully with the gravies. • Kundapur Chicken was authentic and rich in coastal flavors – simply delicious.
The ambience was pleasant, service was good, and portion sizes were satisfying. A perfect spot in Dharwad for tasty non-veg dishes with family and friends. Highly recommended if you love flavorful chicken and mutton...
