Coffee Blossom Restaurant — Restaurant in Karnataka

One of my biggest mistakes in life i did recently was my decision to visit the so called fine dine restaurent of Club Mahindra Resort Madekeri Coorg. I just had to spoil my happiness of the day by visiting this dreadful place and i regret about this decision .

With lot of expectation to dine in a star category restaurent, i visited this place.

My first shocker was when I asked the waiter to serve water. He told me that the policy of this restaurent is not to serve anything for the guest. LOL. Then i wonder why they are employed at first place. We guest can directly walk to kitchen and take the food from the chef and help ourself. I had ordered a chicken biryani with salad and i helped myself with it. I was watching these restaurent staff were just chit chatting amongst themselves while i was struggling to take the food myself. The restaurant anyway was almost empty with just few handful guests.

Then i simply ( with no expectation ofcourse ) tried my luck for finger Bowl. That was denied too. But that i understand that some restaurants stopped doing after pandemic.

Final shock was for the billing. I was expecting my bill to be served at my table , but to my shock i was asked to go to the billing counter to make the payment.

At the billing counter i am waiting for the bill, but Ajay the person at the counter is just simply telling me the amount to be paid without giving me the invoice. I already had enough for the day, and i said i need the bill for the payment. For asking bill, this staff named Ajay was being so rude and never in my life at a star property i have seen such a rude unprofessional staff.

I will never recommend any one to go to this restaurant and get your good mood spoilt with their shoddy, unprofessional rude behaviour of their restaurent staff.

My advice to the management of Club Mahindra is to train your F&B staff in this restaurent to avoid spoiling your brand name in the market.

Never ever again i will visit a club Mahindra property any time...

We went there just for lunch with a toddler. We asked for a pasta and it tasted horrible and sour. The garlic bread with it was stale. We complained and asked for milk as the kid was hungry. I asked for the milk packet to be opened in front of me, wary of the quality. The packet that the waiter brought was expired 2 days earlier. By the time , the rest of the food came (I could not take the pictures of milk packet as they were very quick in taking it away). The rest of the food looked equally bad with dried out rice and watered down dal. We argued alot over the expired milk with no assurance of an action from chef or even the manager. The chef blamed the poor waiter saying he picked the milk from the discard pile (milk was cold and was definitely from the fridge). I questioned why the spoiled milk was kept in fridge and why the staff was not informed that it was to be discarded. The head chef answered: We have lots of staff members and I cannot inform each one about everything!!

After lots of argument, the manager then finally took our contact details and said he will update us on the actions taken. We never heard back from him.

Also, the staff was really unhelpful. I asked for a clean knife to cut some fruits (that I was carrying with me). The staff refused to provide any knife and asked me to use the butter knife. The washrooms were not maintained to the standards of the hotel they claim to be, and water was...

Happened to visit this restaurant for lunch for 2 on the way to trip to coorg. Visited the restaurant NOT as member.

Pros : Its ambience is too good and waiters are always ready to serve you. They welcomes you with smily face. Entire premise is nice and grant at first look. Food taste seems to be fine.

cons : First thing observed.. Its a costly affair and yes they provide discount for members. Secondly, Takes a lot of time to get the food served. Suggestion is not to give order if you are really hungry. else its fine. It took abt 30 minutes for our food to deliver. Seems like they dont take hygene seriously with food they served.
