If I would have the option to give the rating in negative, then I would have definitely given. The reason being is especially the food. 1.They call it as North Indian but they serve rasam, curd rice. The quality of food was pathetic. Hygiene is upto the minimum level even The price of the food as per the quality is too too high. Papa served was completely soft and even asked for replacement, that too they just refried the same and served again. Soup was way too horrible in both look and taste wise. We had the north Indian meals and per plate cost is 325. I feel I being a nith Indian, it would have been better to spend this amount in a good andhra meals than spending here and fall sick. When we called the manager to speak about the same, he too agreed that the cook is a new junior one and is not well versed with the taste. This manager being so shameless, that after agreeing to every above things, he was not apologetic and gave a bill of both the meals. Pictures attached of what we ate along with the bill. After eating this, we could not eat the entire day. And we fell sick with diarrhea. I used request the food inspection team to have the proper investigation on a regular basis so that the customers are well satisfied with teh food quality as well as the price.
Request to all the food bloggers and lovers to highlight such incidents and report to food...
Read moreMalgudi Vatika at Bidadi has made way for Kadamba. I walked in nostalgically recalling the quaint and quirky environment of the previous Vatika restaurant, with its exquisite antiques and a cosy, relaxed setting.
I came away charmed, first by the wonderful, welcoming and smiling faces of the staff here- their attention, simplicity and down-to-earth friendliness struck a chord! Thank you for your attention towards us at lunchtime today, Meghana, and all the team there! Including Murthi! Felt like a homely place! 😊
The Raja thali on a banana leaf was wholesome, sumptuous and delicious, and served with affection! I would have liked the channa to have been cooked to a softer consistency for easier digestion later, but the meal tasted like Amma's cooking! Live, traditional, instrumental music sounded so right, on the clarinet and mridangam. Thank you, musicians!
Finally, a staffer came forth to share the dried goodies, like sun-dried amla, mango, etc. I came away with a pack of the spiced amla, quite a tingly, tasty bite! The restaurant has been spruced up, is bright and clean, and is a great place to stop on the route! Do go for a warm, satiasfying meal! And warmer smiles and attentive staff service! 😊 Thank you, Team Kadamba...
Read morePros: Spacious restaurant with ample seating to handle large crowds. Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Good food — Dosa and tea are highlights. Large parking area, which is convenient for highway travelers. Potential to expand further using the back space for extra seating.
Cons: Chaats were too spicy (customization on spice would be helpful). Limited staff, leading to slower service. Tables not cleaned promptly after guests leave. Overall cleanliness of the premises needs improvement. Bathrooms, though usable, have an odor issue. Parking area could be improved with concrete or tiles.
Overall: The place has a good vibe and strong potential. With improvements in cleanliness, staffing, and facilities, Kadamba Veg could become a regular stop for both...
