Shree Shivapriya Tiffins was established in 1950, and recently opened a new branch near to Bengaluru. They serving authentic Bidadi Thatte Idli and other tiffin items. One must try their Thatte Idli which is one of the softest idlis one can have. The idlis are soft to the touch and when ladder with butter almost breaks in the fingers. It is accompanied with groundnut-coconut chutney which is simply amazing. It has the beautiful color from byadgi chillis and heat from guntur chillis. The sweetness of groundnut balances the flavours. The vegatable sagu is very subtle in taste goes good with Puri. Puliyogare rice was done quite well, flavours of tamarind and jaggery didn't over power each other. The roasted lentils gave a crunchy bit to the dish. Chitranna or the lemon rice looks tempting, it was tangy in flavours (many places don't use enough lemon and taste goes blend). Only complain was it had less groundnuts(it is most important ingredient) and onion. This issue was addressed to the owner and hoping changes in future.
