An Amazing experience
So, I recently had a fortune to visit this wonderful place with a few friends. And the experience was marvelous.
The food - The quality and taste of the food was great. The flavors were just waiting to blow up in the mouth. It contained adequate amounts of spice and salt. And was aesthetically served in high quality ceramics.
The Ambiance- The place mostly hosted Families and a decent crowd. The aroma of the food fills the entire restaurant and mixed with beautiful lighting of the hotel provides an excellent Ambiance.
The Service and Hospitality- The proprietor of the restaurant didn't treat us like customers but treated us as though we were a part of his family. He personally asked us about our feedback and made sure that the meal provided was up to the mark.
Beverages- A dining in a family restaurant is incomplete without the ice cream or a cold beverage in the end. The Beverages served were freshly prepared and highly customized to suit the tastes of individual guests. I asked for a muskmelon milkshake with anjeer in It and it was prepared as per my request.
Parking- There is ample parking space provided for two wheelers as well as four wheelers. Besides, there's ample street parking available as well.
Location- Situated in the heart of Mysore city right in front of a beautiful park. You can take a stroll in the adjoining park after a full meal to increase your digestive abilities.
Overall it was a great experience to dine here. It is nothing short of a 5 star hotel. This mini 5 star hotel which is pocket friendly ( affordable) is family friendly as well.
So if you live in and around Mysore do visit this place and if you are a traveler in Mysore, do not...
Read moreOne word to describe this restaurant, ambience, food, and service is "PATHETIC". We took Special Holige Meals, there was hair in rice and holige. There is a waiter who wears spectacles, he is old man, he is probably in 70s, he is so rude to every customer. He behaves like he is the owner of the restaurant.
They said rice, bisibelebhath, palya is unlimited when I asked to serve the palya second time, he started shouting that they don't serve second time. Looking at his behavior I wanted to slap him right infront of everyone, I just let him go for the sake of his age, he is old man(yet annoying and totally ill mannered). Another customer asked him to serve bisibelebhath for second time and he started shouting that it is Limited. Ambience, taste, cleanliness, staff behavior, food, etc everything is pathetic in this restaurant. This restaurant must be named Narak Nivas.
Add to it, earlier they said 2 roti will be served with holige meals, but they gave only 1, when I asked where is the second one, the waiter started shouting, "we give only one roti with holige meals, "..
According to this pathetic restaurant owner and that disgusting waiter, holige meals with "1 small cold half cooked jolada rotti, one beetroot palya(cold), 1 soppu palya(cold), semiya paysa, one spoon bisibele bhath(cold), 2 spoon white rice with either cold rasam or cold sambar" is justified...
Read moreDissapointed with Declining quality : I recently had lunch at Madhu Nivas, and I must say, I was disappointed with the declining quality of the food. Having been a regular customer for some time, I couldn't help but notice that the quality seems to have taken a back seat nowadays.
The rice and the ready-made joludha roti I ordered were not up to the standard that I had come to expect from Madhu Nivas. The rice felt undercooked, and the roti lacked the freshness and taste that I remembered from previous visits. It's disheartening to see such a decline in quality, especially when I have had enjoyable dining experiences here before.
I am left wondering what has happened to cause this drop in quality. It's disappointing to see a restaurant that I once enjoyed now struggling to maintain its standards. I hope that Madhu Nivas takes note of this feedback and works towards improving the quality of its offerings to regain the trust and satisfaction of...
